Like other cryptocurrencies, Ripple is built atop the idea of a distributed ledger network which requires various parties to participate in validating transactions, rather than any singular centralized authority. That facilitates transactions all over the world, and transfer fees are far cheaper than the likes of bitcoin. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, XRP transfers are effectively immediate, requiring no typical confirmation time.  Ripple was originally founded by a single company, Ripple Labs, and continues to be backed by it, rather than the larger network of developers that continue bitcoin’s development. It also doesn’t have a fluctuating amount of its currency in existence. Where bitcoin has a continually growing pool with an eventual maximum, and Ethereum theoretically has no limit, Ripple was created with all of its 100 billion XRP tokens right out of the gate. That number is maintained with no mining and most of the tokens are owned and held by Ripple Labs itself — around 60 billion at the latest count.  Even at the recently reduced value of around half a dollar per XRP, that means Ripple Labs is currently sitting on around $20 billion worth of the cryptocurrency (note: Ripple’s price crashed hard recently, and may be worth far less than $60 billion by time you read this). It holds 55 billion XRP in an escrow account, which allows it to sell up to a billion per month if it so chooses in order to fund new projects and acquisitions. Selling such an amount would likely have a drastic effect on the cryptocurrency’s value, and isn’t something Ripple Labs plans to do anytime soon.  In actuality, Ripple Labs is looking to leverage the technology behind XRP to allow for faster banking transactions around the world. While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are built on the idea of separating financial transactions from the financial organizations of traditional currencies, Ripple is almost the opposite in every sense. Dell Pushes Back ‘Project Maverick’ AI Overhaul By Three Months: Report

The message volume on the stream increased to ‘extremely high’ levels.Baird Ups Price Target By 22%Reviewing Nvidia’s quarterly performance, Baird analyst Tristan Gerra reiterated an ‘Outperform’ rating and upped the stock price target to $275 from $255.Gerra said Blackwell's demand is now well exceeding supply, and the spotlight now shifts to execution and key supplier TSMC’s (TSM) capacity.&nbsp; “We expect Nvidia to maintain a stratospheric performance and platform advantage versus the competition throughout 2026 and likely 2027,” the analyst said.The analyst believes that Nvidia will continue to apply tremendous pressure on the competition in 2026 with its existing and upcoming product roadmap, along with an annual cadence of new platforms.&nbsp;Notwithstanding the solid fundamentals, Nvidia stock traded at a significant discount versus its two peers, Gerra said. The analyst noted that Nvidia expects an annual $3 trillion to $4 trillion in AI infrastructure spending industry-wide by 2030. The company expects aggregate AI capex for 2026 to be around $600 billion, over 50% higher than expectations entering the year.The company also reiterated its $500 billion revenue target for Blackwell and Rubin for 2025/2026.Baird said Nvidia remained one of its top three large-cap semiconductor ideas due to its market share, product performance, ecosystem leadership, insatiable AI-related demand, a class-leading gross margin profile, and an attractive valuation among peers.Goldman On Readthrough For Rest Of Chip StocksNvidia's fourth-quarter Data Center segment guidance points to a solid AI spending environment, and is also positive for chipmakers in its coverage, including Broadcom (AVGO) and AMD (AMD), the Fly reported. The Nvidia CEO attended the dinner hosted by the president for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and also spoke at the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum held at the Kennedy Center in Washington.<h2 class="st-heading-2">White House’s Anti-GAIN AI Stance</h2>White House’s lobbying against the GAIN AI Act was&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-11-20/white-house-asks-congress-to-reject-bill-curbing-nvidia-exports">reported</a> by Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter.&nbsp; The act proposes that a company seeking a license to export advanced AI chips to China and other countries of concern first certify that American companies and startups have priority in acquiring those chips.Trump’s backing of Huang and Nvidia is a no-brainer, given that the advanced, high-performance computing chips made by the company are used to power most of the AI applications, processes and systems. The president has also been using Nvidia’s AI processors as a bargaining chip in his negotiations with his major trading partners.Nvidia opposed the bill in no uncertain terms. A company spokesperson reportedly said, “We never deprive American customers in order to serve the rest of the world. In trying to solve a problem that does not exist, the proposed bill would restrict competition worldwide in any industry that uses mainstream computing chips.”A Wall Street Journal report stated last week that Nvidia hyperscaler customers Microsoft and Amazon&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/2-big-techs-reportedly-back-team-trump-s-plan-to-box-out-nvidia-in-china/cLPfCjCREES">backed the GAIN AI Act.</a>The Bloomberg report also stated that lawmakers were mulling another bill, the Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Act of 2025, which would require the Commerce Department to deny all applications for the sale of AI chips to China that are more powerful than those the US currently allows.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Win For Nvidia?</h2>Nvidia, which had a thriving business in China before the previous Biden administration banned the export of its AI chips in late 2023, began to see its sales to the country taper. The workaround China-specific AI chip, the H20, which Nvidia developed, was banned by the Trump administration in April, bringing its China revenue to a standstill.Although the government has lifted the ban, the resumption of exports hasn’t materialized in a meaningful manner. On Nvidia’s third-quarter earnings call, CFO Colette Kress said China-specific H20 chips made a negligible contribution, at $50 million. Yann LeCun, who served as Meta’s VP &amp; Chief AI Scientist, has confirmed that he planned to leave the social media giant. In a LinkedIn post, LeCun said, “As many of you have heard through rumors or recent media articles, I am planning to leave Meta after 12 years: 5 years as founding director of FAIR and 7 years as Chief AI Scientist.”<h2 class="st-heading-2">The Meta Stock</h2>Notwithstanding, Meta’s recent pullback, retail investors on Stocktwits aren’t yet ready to jump on the bullish bandwagon. The stock has been making more lower lows in the current downtrend, suggesting intense selling pressure.Wall Street analysts aren’t hitting the panic button yet. According to Koyfin, out of the 68 analysts covering the stock, 59 have ‘Buy’ or ‘Strong Buy’ ratings, eight remain on the sidelines (‘Hold’), and one is in the bearish camp with a ‘Sell’ rating. The average price target for the stock is $841.42, implying scope for over 40% upside.On Wednesday, Cantor Fitzgerald analysts cut their price target for Meta stock to $720 from $830, while maintaining an ‘Overweight’ rating. Traders bid down&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/PANW">Palo Alto’s stock</a> in the after-hours as the full-year revenue was guided to either in-line or a miss, but retail optimism abounded.The stock has underperformed the broader market and the tech sector this year, having gained about 10%.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Palo Alto’s Q1 Snapshot</h2>CEO Nikesh Arora said the strong start to the fiscal year reflected “excellent results across all metrics, and significant platformization wins.”&nbsp;For the fiscal year 2026 first quarter, Santa Clara, California-based company reported revenue growth of 16% year over year (YoY) to $2.47 billion, slightly exceeding the Fiscal.ai-compiled consensus of $2.46 billion.The adjusted earnings per share (EPS) climbed YoY to $0.93 from $0.78, versus the average analysts’ estimate of $0.89.Among key operational metrics, next-generation annual recurring revenue (ARR) climbed 29% YoY to $5.9 billion, and remaining performance obligations (RPO) rose 24% to $15.5 billion.CFO Dipak Golechha said operating margin was above 30% for another quarter, underlining the company’s sustainable profit growth.Separately, the company said Mark Goodburn, a veteran in global advisory, technology, and innovation, has been appointed to its board, while its longest-serving board member, Mary Pat McCarthy, would retire, effective Jan. 23, 2026.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Palo Alto’s Outlook</h2>The company expects second-quarter revenue of $2.57 billion to $2.59 billion and adjusted EPS of $0.93 to $0.95. Analysts, on average, expect the numbers to be at $2.58 billion and $0.93, respectively.Palo Alto raised its full-year guidance as follows:-Revenue: $10.50B-$10.54B (up from $10.475B-$10.525B)-Adj. EPS: $3.80-$3.90 (up from $3.75-$3.85)This compares to the consensus estimates of $10.52 billion and $3.80, respectively.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Chronosphere Acquisition</h2>In a separate release, Palo Alto said it has agreed to acquire&nbsp;Chronosphere, a next-generation observability platform built to scale for the AI era, for $3.35 billion in cash and replacement equity awards. The company sees the proposed buy as a way to strengthen its help organizations navigate a world where modern applications and AI workloads demand a unified data and security foundation.Chronosphere generated ARR of over $160 million at the end of September. Calling the guidance “eye-popping,” Wedbush’s Daniel Ives said it will be a major positive catalyst for Nvidia and the bullish AI Revolution thesis.In the process, <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/NVDA">Nvidia’s stock</a> appears on track to snap its two-session losing streak and reverse most of its November losses.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Nvidia’s Q3 Earnings Snapshot</h2>CEO Jensen Huang delivered one of the most bullish AI forecasts, allaying some of the skepticism that has been building. The executive said, “Blackwell sales are off the charts, and cloud GPUs are sold out.”“Compute demand keeps accelerating and compounding across training and inference — each growing exponentially. We’ve entered the virtuous cycle of AI. The AI ecosystem is scaling fast — with more new foundation model makers, more AI startups, across more industries, and in more countries. AI is going everywhere, doing everything, all at once.”Here’s how the headline numbers compare:<ul><li>Adjusted earnings per share (EPS): $1.30 (up 60% YoY) vs.&nbsp;est $1.25 consensus (Fiscal.ai)</li><li>Revenue: $57.01&nbsp;billion (up 62% YoY &amp; up 22% QoQ) vs.&nbsp;est $55.03&nbsp;billion</li></ul>Nvidia’s adjusted gross margin contracted 1.4 basis points (bps) YoY to 73.6% but improved 0.9bps sequentially.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Nvidia’s Businesses — How Q3 Performance Stacked Up</h2>The Santa Clara, California-based chipmaker’s data center business turned in another record revenue performance, recording sales of $51.2 billion (roughly 90% of overall revenue). YoY, the growth was 66%. The sequential increase was 25%.In prepared remarks, CFO Colette Kress said Blackwell Ultra was the company’s leading architecture across all customer categories, while the previous Blackwell architecture also saw strong demand. The company is on track to launch its next iteration, named Vera Rubin, next year.&nbsp; She clarified that China-specific H20 chips made a negligible contribution, at $50 million.Gaming and AI PC revenue rose 30% YoY to $4.3 billion but slipped 1% from the previous quarter. Nvidia attributed the sequential drop to channel inventories reaching more normalized levels&nbsp;as the holiday season approached. Professional &amp; visualization, and automotive &amp; robotics revenue grew to $760 million annually and $592 million sequentially, respectively.&nbsp;Nvidia’s board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.01 per share, to be paid on Dec. 26, to shareholders of record on Dec. 4.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Nvidia’s Q4 Outlook</h2>For the fourth quarter, Nvidia guided revenue to $65 billion, plus or minus 2%, and adjusted gross margin to 75%, plus or minus 50 bps. Analysts, on average, brace for revenue of $61.75 billion for the quarter.Deepwater Asset Management’s Gene Munster said, “Jensen was over the top near and long term bullish.” The fund manager believes next fiscal year’s revenue growth will be at least 54% versus the 41% consensus forecast, and the margin will be maintained at current levels.On the earnings call, Huang said Nvidia's balance sheet is sufficient to support its partners and that all investments are aimed at expanding the reach of its CUDA systems. According to Munster, this suggests partnerships will keep coming. As recently as this week, Nvidia and Microsoft announced investments in AI startup Anthropic.On the earnings call, Kress said the company is on track to hit its $500 billion forecast for Blackwell and Rubin.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Huang’s Take On AI Bubble</h2>The Nvidia CEO also said, “There's been a lot of talk about an AI bubble. From our vantage point, we see something very different.” He talked about three transformations the tech world is experiencing: from CPUs to GPU-accelerated computing, the AI transformation of existing apps and the enabling of new ones, and agentic AI. “Consider these 3 fundamental dynamics; each will contribute to infrastructure growth in the coming years.”<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Retail Feels About&nbsp; Nvidia Stock</h2>Retail sentiment toward Nvidia stock among users of the Stocktwits platform shifted to ‘extremely bullish’ by late Wednesday, from ‘bullish’ a day before.
