The moot point is whether this partnership is&nbsp;a substantial “win-win” opportunity or merely a headline-grabbing alignment.At least, investors have taken the news positively,&nbsp;as seen from the&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/DIS">Disney stock</a> rising 2.4% on Thursday.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Disney’s Deal Snippets</h2>-Disney becomes Sora’s first content licensing partner, as part of a three-year contract.-Based on user prompts, Sora can now generate videos, drawing from a set of over 200 characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars.-Disney becomes&nbsp;an&nbsp;OpenAI customer (will use OpenAI’s APIs to build new products, tools, and experiences, and deploys ChatGPT to its employees).The highlight of the deal terms is a $1 billion investment Disney has agreed to make in&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/OPENAI">OpenAI</a>, which&nbsp;is currently raking up mammoth losses. It would also receive warrants that can be used to purchase additional equity.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Win-Win Or It So Seems?</h2>Walt Disney CEO Bog Iger was upbeat about the&nbsp;partnership. The AI-generated content may help reinvigorate engagement on the company’s streaming platforms.Following&nbsp;Disney’s fourth-quarter results in mid-November, Evercore ISI analyst Kutgun Maral said the&nbsp;company’s&nbsp;FY26 outlook was conservative amid macro uncertainties. They lauded the company for an “impressive” earnings report and felt Broadcom’s Hock did not care about “external noises.”Following the Q4 print, Baird’s Tristan Gerra hiked his price target on Broadcom to $420 from $300 — a massive increase — while reiterating an ‘Overweight’ rating. Gerra pointed to strong deal momentum, highlighting the additional $11 billion order, entirely from Anthropic, the company’s fourth customer, on top of the $10 billion announced in the prior quarter.He also flagged that Broadcom has now secured a fifth customer for its XPUs. Overall U.S. EV sales fell more than 41% in November and Tesla's market share rose to 56.7% from 43.1%, the report added.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Standard Variants Fail To Prevent Slump</h2>Tesla launched cheaper variants of its best-selling Model Y and Model 3 vehicles in October after $7500 federal tax credit on the purchase of new EVs expired at the end of September. The Standard variant of the Model Y starts at $39,990, or at least $5000 less than its other variants.Likewise, the Standard Model 3 starts at $36,990, at least $5500 lower than its other variants. The cheaper versions were expected to prevent a deep slide in sales caused by the removal of the tax credit."The drop certainly shows there is not enough demand for the Standard variants that were supposed to boost sales after the tax credit expiry," Cox's director of industry insights Stephanie Valdez Streaty told Reuters. "What’s also happening is Standard sales are cannibalizing into sales of Premium versions, especially the Model 3."<h2 class="st-heading-2">Tesla’s Changing Priorities Threaten Sales</h2>Tesla is currently attempting to pivot away from being solely an EV maker to fields such as vehicle autonomy and robotics. Meanwhile, its vehicle deliveries stand at risk of dropping for the second consecutive year in 2025.Deliveries for the nine months through September-end this year totaled 1.22 million. Tesla must now deliver 568,917 vehicles in the fourth quarter to prevent a year-over-year drop in deliveries. Notably, the company has not yet exceeded 500,000 in quarterly deliveries till date.The company’s best quarterly delivery numbers was in the third quarter earlier this year when it delivered 497,099 vehicles, marking a year-over-year growth of 7.4%.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Ageing Lineup Aids Demand Slump</h2>The company is also bogged down by an ageing lineup. The last addition to Tesla’s lineup was the Cybertruck, deliveries of which began in November 2023. The Cybertruck, however, failed to bring in delivery numbers, likely due to its high price point.Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in November during the company’s annual general meeting that the company will start production of its humanoid robot Optimus, the Tesla Semi truck and the two-seater Cybercab meant to be launched solely for robotaxi purposes in 2026. There was no mention of a cheaper model."Tesla has a serious challenge on its hands next year when several other automakers are planning to roll out cheaper vehicles that are also full of fun features. So the answer is that Tesla needs a completely new vehicle in its fleet. Super Micro's addition to the S&amp;P 500 provided a boost, but it failed to reignite the uptrend. Notably, the company was removed from the Nasdaq 100 just five months after its inclusion in the tech index.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Stock Returns This Year</h2>As Super Micro became compliant with the listing requirements for timely quarterly reporting, buyers returned to the stock. The<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/SMCI">&nbsp;SMCI stock</a> also benefited from the company's new offerings involving Nvidia's newest high-performance chips and its positive long-term outlook.  AXIL Stock Just Rocketed Over 150% Today — What’s The Walmart Angle? 

AXIL Brands announced a partnership with Walmart that would bring its products to the stores of America’s largest retailer.

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>GE Vernova is emerging as a standout performer thanks to accelerating orders, strong backlogs, margin gains, and rising free cash flow.</li><li>The company is benefiting from surging data-center demand and expanding grid investments.</li><li>The company recently issued a stronger-than-expected near and medium-term outlook at its investor event.</li></ul>Once considered a bellwether of the economy, given the diverse businesses under its fold, GE was beginning to feel the weight of an unwieldy organization; its fundamentals suffered, and it was booted from the Dow Jones Industrial Average in 2018 after being part of the blue-chip average for more than a century.Desperate times call for desperate measures. The company chose to take a bolder approach to streamline operations by effecting a tripartite split: the parent company was renamed GE Aerospace, GE Vernova (focused on energy), and GE Healthcare.&nbsp;&nbsp;While the plan was mooted and communicated to the investors in November 2021, GE Healthcare was spun off in 2023, followed by the separation of GE Vernova, leaving parent GE as a pure-play aerospace company.&nbsp;Far from a risky experiment, GE’s restructuring is emerging as one of Wall Street’s most effective value unlocks — with spin-off unit Vernova’s (GEV) AI-driven breakout validating the bet.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">GEV’s Businesses</h2>The company provides power generation products, such as gas turbines, to end markets including pulp &amp; paper mills, mines, data centers, oil &amp; gas, and hospitals. By energy sources, power accounted for roughly half of the company’s revenues in the September quarter, with wind and electrification contributing approximately 25% each.<h2 class="st-heading-2">GEV Lands In Data Center Sweetspot</h2>When the company released its third-quarter results in late October, CEP Scott Strazik sounded positive about its order flow and backlogs:<blockquote>“Our growth trajectory is accelerating and the demand environment for our equipment and services remains strong with $16 billion in backlog growth year-to-date. Our Gas Power equipment backlog and slot reservation agreements increased from 55 to 62 gigawatts sequentially, and our Electrification equipment backlog increased $6.5 billion year-to-date, to approximately $26 billion.”</blockquote>The 55% order growth was exemplary by any standards. He also noted that the company signed its first technology collaboration funding agreement with a hyperscaler for scope inside the data center.To tap into the data center opportunity, the company agreed to acquire the remaining 50% of the Prolec GE joint venture from its partner, Xignux, by paying $5.275 billion in cash and debt. At the start of December, the company announced a $400 million funding grant to the Tennessee Valley Authority to continue accelerating the deployment of GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy’s BWRX-300 small modular reactor (SMR). Strazik said the BWRX-300 is the only commercial SMR technology currently being built in the Western world.In its 2025 Investor Update, the company reaffirmed its 2025 revenue and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) margin guidance. The company lifted its 2028 revenue outlook to low-double-digit organic growth from the high-single-digit growth it had forecast earlier.It lifted its 2025 free cash flow guidance to $3.5 billion to $4 billion, which is expected to rise to $4 billion to $4.5 billion in 2026 and more than $22 billion by 2028.Separately, GEV doubled its quarterly dividend to $0.50 per share and increased its buyback authorization to $10 billion.GEV is also set to benefit from the rare-earth scramble, as China restricts the supply of these key materials used in multiple end products. Strazik reportedly&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/ge-vernova-working-with-us-government-boost-stocks-rare-earth-yttrium-2025-12-10/">said</a> at the Investor event that the company is working with the government to increase yttrium stockpiles, a rare-earth element.&nbsp;Following the investor update, GEV received a few upgrades and a slew of price-target hikes, according to summaries of notes from the Fly.&nbsp;According to Koyfin, the average price target for GEV is $692.14, suggesting a 11% upside potential from current levels. Wall Street firms RBC Capital Markets and Oppenheimer upgraded the stock, assigning it bullish-equivalent ratings.
