<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Bloomberg reported that the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services (CMS), which runs the Medicare program, is planning an initiative that would make some U.S. Medicare patients eligible for CBD coverage.&nbsp;</li><li>MSOS and YOLO, two key cannabis sector-focused funds, gained 3.4% and 2.7%, respectively.</li><li>The Trump administration seems to be backing cannabis as an industry, following its previous comments regarding CBD and reclassifying marijuana.</li></ul>Cannabis&nbsp;stocks advanced on Wednesday following a report speculating that certain U.S Medicare patients could soon be eligible to receive coverage for CBD under a new initiative.CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound found in cannabis and used to treat sleep disorders, anxiety, pain, and inflammation.
