At the time, the technology was demonstrated virtually through simulation, but never completed as a physical working system. It’s not the same thing as saying the technology didn’t exist. I believe it means the project had reached engineering/design/simulation/component-development stages without becoming a functioning complete vehicle/powertrain.

$HPIL I’ll say one thing that stood out to me are the anticipated IPOs for Anthropic and OpenAI being delayed right around the HPIL reassignment. The word was probably out already prior to the docket update and if we want to entertain a connection, it says that we’re very close. Anthropic was pushed back a month into November 2026, and OpenAI into early 2027. Coincidence, maybe. So, whenever the initial judgment was determined, I’d give or take additional weeks. Might have nothing in common, but I’m betting these IPOs are critical for us.
