$OKTA is only up because of yesterday’s AI hype — not because the core business suddenly got stronger. Once that headline momentum fades, I expect this move to unwind fast take profits and get out this company ain’t all that. 🐻

Cybersecurity has been the best-performing sector of software this year, and can sustain this move higher with AI safety concerns emerging. YTD: $OKTA +116% FTNT +113% $PANW +104% $CRWD +99% $DDOG +69% $NET +67% FFIV +61% S +50% Every name on this list: - beat on both revenue and eps last quarter - trading above major technical supports

$OKTA $TWLO while AI infra has been in protracted range since June. These two AI agents-enabled softwares are doing well during time.

$OKTA $CRWD I don’t hate either name (and even own some crwd outright), but both of these have created some pretty scary gaps on the weekly. Obvious extenuating circumstances with all the macro stuff will dictate direct, but if we get a red day, bears will find meat on the bones No puts yet, but on watch.

$OKTA Pipe dreams at this point, some agentic AI security will for sure start coming in, but let's face it, it wont grow into this absurd valuation. Short position built up with additional naked calls sold for 200-ish. Forward PE is around 80 now (GAAP, no adjusted garbage number cooking) for a 10% a year growth company in a busy space. $100-$120 would be already well reasonnable.

The firm came away from Oktane 2026 with continued conviction in the growth opportunity for identity security and Okta's growth acceleration potential, the analyst tells investors.

After the company's Oktane 2026 event, the firm is remaining positive on identity's likely expanding total addressable market and Okta's position within the market segment, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Okta's AI portfolio can lead to meaningful additive growth as well as more share for existing Okta solutions and new logos wins, the firm added.

$OKTA Incredible stock chart that looks like staircase. Nice pop today, with the AI scare. This stock is supposedly the leader in Identity management and ultimately a takeover target based on the grapevine. Hold your longs tight, you cannot be wrong.

$OKTA I think the market is overestimating the growth capabilities and overvaluing the company. 40 times foward PE (LTM a 101 PE!!) and only expected to grow around 10% next year and the following. Companies will use their own agentic guardrails rather than using Oktas solution (also newer LLMs are out of the box better at it), Microsoft and co. is already working on a competitor e.g. Entra ID; Auth0's base concept is open source and can essentially be hosted by everyone (Oauth2); The core product Okta will face seat losing revenue headwinds. This will come down crushing as soon as sanity comes back.

$OKTA give me a f-ing break this thing up here is as crazy as the bubble ai pump in ai names like chips/semis/memory.. th is thing does identity and even then its not a major player there are other options .. aws and most cloud providers roll out their own flavor .. ie the edge in this name is not there for it to be justifying these insane share prices. but when pumping i guess pump is all that matters.. should correct once the hype wears out from earnings etc.

$OKTA just ripped with the cybersecurity/AI trade, but the fundamentals still show only ~11% revenue growth and ~14% cRPO growth. If investors stop paying an AI premium for low-double-digit growth, this recent move can unwind fast. (Barron’s⁠)
