$VTGN Well now we who drove this up last month. Janus Henderson Biotech Innovation Master Fund bought up 4.1m shares. They are now 14% owners of the company. What is remarkable to me is that represents about 33% of the effective float, yet the price didn&#39;t spike as much as you would expect. There were a lot of sellers into that accumulation. Still, this position represents less than a drop in the bucket for this fund, just .01% of their holdings. I would have rather seen more broad based buying. This is very low stakes flyer, of the sort this fund has been making for years. Make of it what you will. It&#39;s not NOT bullish, but it&#39;s not really anything in my opinion. Low stakes flyer on a company that was at the time trading at book value close to a readout. I expect some de-risking between now and readout.

In the same reporting period they took a big stake via direct offering in IVVD, but also increased their already large stake in DYN. Like VTGN, you can pretty much see the day that they did the bulk of it (Aug 6), and Aug 15 for VTGN. Remember that 5m volume day out of nowhere? Though I think they started accumulating in July.

@Haimalon The big question for me is when these HF take profits. If this reads out positive, they will have scraped the majority of their alpha, and likely won&#39;t be willing to wait around a few years for the remainder. Additionally, there will be Pal4 waiting in the wings, which introduces additional risk of failure without adding much benefit to share price. So their could be some downward pressure in the weeks following a positive readout of Pal3 that caps this thing. That is before you consider the warrant exercise, though I don&#39;t expect that until after Pal4 reads out. HF that hold large stakes now AND own warrants will almost certainly sell their current shares after a Pal3 positive readout, and then take the arbitrage from the warrants after a Pal4 readout.
