Dilip Buildcon Ltd (DBL) on Wednesday (October 29) announced that it has been awarded a back-to-back sub-contract worth ₹307.08 crore, including GST, for the “Development of Barpali loading bulb at Kusara” under the jurisdiction of the Deputy Chief Engineer (Construction), Jharsuguda, Chakradharpur Division, South Eastern Railway.
The subcontract has been awarded by ISC Projects Private Ltd, a domestic entity, and will be executed over a period of 24 months on an item rate basis. The scope of work involves composite execution of earthwork by filling and cutting, blanketing, construction of minor bridges, side drains, central drains, catch water drains, protection works, and permanent way (P. Way) track linking.

It also includes transportation of P. Way materials, supply of ballast, construction of service buildings, goomties, workshop sheds for C&W examination lines, heavy repair sheds, a proposed bogie shop, stores with shed, road work, circulating area, abrasion-resistant granolithic concrete flooring, ballastless track beams, GDR pathway work, structural steel work, and metalising work.
Dilip Buildcon clarified that its promoters or promoter group companies do not have any interest in the awarding entity, and the order does not fall within related party transactions.
