Gorilla Technology Group (GRRR) sparked fresh retail interest on Tuesday after unveiling a new data center plan in Thailand, extending its expansion across Asia just days after locking in a massive $2.8 billion project in India.
GRRR shares were up around 1% at the time of writing.
Gorilla Technology announced plans to build a large-scale AI data center campus in Thailand. The company secured land in the Korat region for a 200MW facility. The campus is expected to support around 150MW of IT load, enabling high-density GPU deployments for governments, enterprises, and AI developers.
Construction is expected to begin in July 2026, with the first phase scheduled for completion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2027. Once fully operational, the campus will include six high-density data halls and could generate up to $1.5 billion in annual revenue starting in 2028.
Last week, the company significantly expanded its partnership with Yotta Data Services, deepening its push into India’s fast-growing AI infrastructure market with a deal valued at around $2.8 billion.
The move builds on an earlier agreement to deploy AI systems in the country, including about 640 high-performance Nvidia servers with more than 5,000 GPUs, a project expected to generate over $500 million in revenue over five years.
Under the new deal, the partners will add 20,736 B300 GPU cards, with deliveries targeted by Sept. 30, 2026.
Retail sentiment for GRRR on Stocktwits remained in the ‘extremely bullish’ zone, amid ‘extremely high’ message volumes.
One user highlighted potential revenue from Gorilla’s numerous deals, adding that the market cap could climb to “tens of billions.”
Last September, Gorilla Technology and Singapore-based Freyr signed a three-year, $1.4 billion deal to build AI-powered data centers across Southeast Asia.
Another user said Gorilla needs to raise its 2026 revenue guidance.
The stock has gained more than 38% so far this year.
