Iran has reportedly rejected a 15-point ceasefire plan sent to the country by the U.S. through Pakistan, a day after the country’s Foreign Minister Esmaeil Baghei said that Iran had a “very bad experience with American diplomacy.”

According to a Reuters report, Ebrahim Zolfaqari, a spokesperson for Iran's joint military command, said that President Donald Trump is negotiating with himself.

“Has the level of your inner struggle reached the stage of you (Trump) negotiating with yourself? People like us can never get along with people like you,” Zolfaqari said, according to the report.

According to a report by The Associated Press, Pakistani officials confirmed on Wednesday that they have delivered the U.S.’s ceasefire plan to Iran, even as the United States moves thousands of marines to the Middle East.

The ceasefire plan proposed by the U.S. includes aspects like sanctions relief, a rollback of Iran’s nuclear program and allowing shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

The ceasefire plan proposed by the U.S. includes aspects like sanctions relief, a rollback of Iran’s nuclear program, with a provision to allow the International Atomic Energy Agency to undertake monitoring, as well as allowing shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, according to the report.
