9. Meesho: It is also headquartered in Bengaluru and was founded by Sanjeev Barnwal and Vidit Aatrey in 2015. 8. Veritas Finance: Founded in 2015 by D Arulmany, it is headquartered in Chennai. With a 64% Year-on-Year (YoY) revenue growth, it's valuation is $1 billion. It has 7,704 employees. (Photo: Veritas Finance)


Rebel Foods logo
7. Rebel Foods: It has its headquarter in Mumbai and employs 8,500 people. It was founded in 2011 by Jaydeep Barman, Kallol Banerjee. It has a valuation of around $1.4 billion.


6. CARS24: Founded in 2015 by Vikram Chopra, Mehul Agrawal, Gajendra Jangid, and Ruchit Agarwal, it employs 9,846 people and has its headquarter in Gurugram. It is backed by investors such as DST Global, Trifecta Capital, and Alpha Venture Partners, and has a valuation of $3.3 billion.


XpressBees
5. XpressBees: Headquartered in Pune, it employs 10,000 people. It was founded in 2015 by Amitava Saha and Supam Maheshwari. It's valuation is approximately $1.4 billion.


PRISM (Previously OYO)
4. PRISM (Previously OYO): Headquartered in Gurugram, it has 13,424 workers. It was founded by Ritesh Agarwal in 2013 and has a valuation of $5 billion. It is backed by Peak XV Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and SoftBank, among others and operate in more than 80 countries.


PhysicsWallah IPO
3. PhysicsWallah: It is among the top three Unicorn employers with 14,000 people working for the Noida-based company. It was founded in 2020 by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari and has a valuation of $3.7 billion with 161% YoY revenue growth rate.


2. OfBusiness: Headquartered in Gurugram, it employs 17,000 workers. It was founded in 2015 by Asish Mohapatra, Ruchi Kalra, Vasant Sridhar, Bhuvan Gupta, and Nitin Jain. It has a valuation of $5 billion.


1. Lenskart: Founded by Peyush Bansal, Amit Chaudhary, Neha Bansal, Sumeet Kapahi, and Ramneek Khurana in 2010, it has a valuation of $7.5 billion. IDG Ventures, Chiratae Ventures, and TPG are lead investors. It employs 17,607 people and its the top employer among the Unicorn startups.
