TT Jagannathan, 'the cooker pioneer' and founder of Prestige passes away

TT Jagannathan, Chairman Emeritus, TTK Group, has passed away in Bengaluru.  As titans of the industry have often underscored, he disrupted the Pressure cooker category with the ‘gasket release system’, making Prestige a household name.

TT Jagannathan is first and foremost someone who loves to cook. Jagannathan has a PhD in operations research from Cornell University in the United States and was awarded a medal by IIT Chennai. For the past fifty years, he has served on the board of TTK Prestige. '

He is the author of the book 'Disrupt and Conquer-How TTK Prestige became a Billion Dollar Company'.

The book is a journey about the company's many milestones and how it fought bankruptcy to become a successful agency. He was instrumental in turning around the TTK group and making it debt-free.
