$SDGR Shareholders meeting today where Ramy and the board get to pretend like everything is going great. IPO in 2020. Came public at a $2.8B valuation. Today? $1.5B valuation. And shareholders have been massively diluted along the way. Meanwhile $100 invested in the SP in early 2020 would be worth $200 or so now. Some unfortunate changes in environment. Higher rates. The rise of Chinese bios and AI. More platforms doing what they do. But also just horrible management. So much promise. And very few tangible results. Maybe the next five years are better. But there's no reason to think so. Show me!

@luckydirb AI in general has been a massive disappointment in biotech innovation. Sure, these guys got some small payouts from partnerships which validated the program somewhat. But other than that? Meh. Ramy likes to say that all the big players are using their platform. But where are the big wins with these big players? There are none. And it's not just them. ABBV has been working with the Google geniuses for going on 12 years. They've spent billions. What do they have to show from this Calico partnership? Absolutely nothing. Who knows, maybe SDGR will pan out someday. I'm not giving up. But this requires another 5 year commitment to 2030 and I often think to myself that this is a mighty big ask given the crap performance over the last five years. I'm frustrated as fuck.

@scott52 I am seriously concerned about the future of this company given its track record in the last five years. I hold nothing against the CEO personally. He may be charismatic, very liked by his employees, and very politically correct. But he has lead the company down to the hell in the last five years. There is no excuses for that performance, because even an average CEO could have done much better than that. He should step down or be fired. His only hope is their pipelines would come out right. But so far no good signs. Their malt1 candidate seems a disaster. The readout is downhelming, the market has no interest, and they have to move on with it themselves.

@scott52 facts which are indisputable at this point... might have to move this to my KISS portfolio (Keeps Investing in shitty stocks) but I will allow myself to dream awhile longer and try not to wake up to the realization I could of have kept my money in a CD for a similar return without the headache.
