The statement comes when Tom Lee has urged shareholders to approve a massive share increase.&nbsp;He also said that Bitmine is going to bridge TradFi (traditional finance) and DeFi (Decentralized Finance) with the help of its MAVAN platform which is Bitmine’s proprietary Ethereum staking solution. <ul class="summary-bullets"><li>ICE CEO Jeffrey Sprecher said stablecoins have “dollarized the world”, as they are denominated in US dollars.</li><li>Robinhood has launched 24/7 trading offering trading of selected stocks and exchange-traded funds.</li></ul>NYSE-parent, Intercontinental Exchange’s Chief Executive Officer said on Monday that the company is trying to catch up with firms like Robinhood on crypto and 24/7 trading markets.&nbsp;“New York Stock Exchange, by law, has to close the stock exchange at four in the afternoon,” Jeffrey Sprecher said. “Robinhood has come out, and they're trading 24 hours a day, and a lot of that volume is coming from overseas, because all these overseas people, they all want to own the Magnificent Seven, and they all have dollars in an account, and it's like they're buying US stocks,” he added.&nbsp;“These innovators have created twenty-four by seven markets, twenty-four by seven capital movements, and we're trying to catch up, much like the regulators, and figure out what this means for our business,” he said at Rotary Club of Atlanta.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Stablecoin Popularity</h2>Sprecher said that stablecoins have “dollarized the world,” as they are denominated in US dollars, prompting European central bank and UK central bank and even China to rush and launch their own stablecoin type currency.&nbsp;Last year Intercontinental Exchange signed a memorandum of understanding with Circle, issuer of the world’s second-largest stablecoin, to explore integrating Circle’s products into its trading and clearing business.&nbsp;Firms like Visa have launched stablecoin settlement in the United States as it gains popularity globally.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">24*7 Trading Push</h2>NYSE has been planning to extend weekday trading on its NYSE Arca equities exchange to 22 hours a day on all weekdays, excluding weekends. Last month, Nasdaq also filed for a 23-hours a day trading for five weeks a day to U.S. Securities and Exchange, as demand from investors pile.Robinhood has launched 24/7 trading offering trading of selected stocks and exchange-traded funds as it pushes to go beyond traditional Wall Street operating hours. Coinbase Rallies After Goldman Calls COIN Stock A ‘Best-In-Class’ Crypto Play

Bitcoin’s price also rose in early morning trading, lifting crypto-linked equities higher.

<ul><li>Jeff Dorman, the chief investment officer at Arca, said in a post on X that the biggest threat to MSTR is if the stock decouples from Bitcoin’s price movements.&nbsp;</li><li>According to him, even if Bitcoin’s price crashes and MSTR’s stock price goes down with it, the company has two years of cash runway to survive.</li><li>However, the company could be forced to sell stock if Bitcoin’s price shoots up but MSTR’s stock price doesn’t rise with it.</li></ul>Strategy (MSTR) edged 0.85% higher in after-hours trade on Sunday as Bitcoin (BTC) rose to touch $93,000 ahead of the company announcing its weekly Bitcoin purchase, or an addition to its newly created U.S. dollar reserve.According to Jeff Dorman, chief investment officer at Arca, neither a potential removal from the MSCI index nor a sharp drop in Bitcoin’s price represents the real threat facing Strategy. Chatter remained at ‘normal’ levels.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Bitcoin Crashing Isn’t the Core Risk</h2>Dorman pushed back on concerns that Strategy could face meaningful downside from a potential MSCI index removal. He said the risk of being dropped from MSCI is “marginally bad for stock” and “irrelevant for $BTC,” arguing it would have little impact on Strategy’s underlying business or its balance sheet. Investors are also&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/StocktwitsPolls">watching</a> MSTR’s stock for its potential inclusion in the S&amp;P 500 this quarter.Dorman added that Strategy would not be forced into selling its holdings even during periods of extreme volatility for Bitcoin. According to him, the company holds more than two years of cash runway and faces no covenants that would require Bitcoin sales under stress scenarios.<h2 class="st-heading-2">The Risk That Could Break the MSTR Story</h2>Dorman identified the biggest concern for Strategy as a scenario where Bitcoin “screaming higher” fails to lift Strategy’s stock price. If MSTR were to decouple from Bitcoin and trade well below its market net asset value (mNAV), the company’s capital-raising model could come under strain.In that case, issuing shares through at-the-market offerings would become difficult if the stock trades meaningfully below mNAV. The Biggest Risk To MSTR Isn't MSCI Delisting Or Bitcoin’s Price Crashing, Says Analyst

(<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/CIFR">CIFR</a>) announced that it is acquiring a 200-megawatt (MW) site in Ohio, called “Ulysses,” which will expand its footprint beyond Texas.The acquisition includes 195 acres of land, secured capacity, and utility agreements. The site is expected to be connected with the power grid by the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2027, after which Cipher will gain access to PJM, the nation’s largest wholesale electricity market.The acquisition site is also suitable for high-performance computing (HPC) due to its size, energization timeline, diverse fiber-path availability, and proximity to a major metropolitan area, the company said.Shares of Cipher Mining are up about 0.6% on Tuesday at the time of writing.<h2 class="st-heading-2">AI And HPC Expansion</h2>The latest Ohio site acquisition will not only expand Cipher’s geographical impact but will also increase its development pipeline to 3.4 GW across eight sites. Before this deal, the company had a pipeline of about 3.2 GW that was prioritized for HPC.“Hyperscalers are driving unprecedented demand for large-scale sites,” said Tyler Page, CEO of Cipher Mining. “Leveraging our proven sourcing capabilities, Cipher is continuing to seize the opportunity to shape the future of high-performance computing infrastructure. This new site, in a new power market, gives us additional capacity to continue expanding our HPC hosting business while broadening our geographical footprint.”The crypto mining platform has been aggressively pushing into the artificial intelligence (AI) and HPC space. In November, the company secured a 10-year HPC <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/why-did-cipher-mining-stock-surge-12-pre-market-today/cLPAKNeREa2">colocation deal</a> with AI cloud company Fluidstack to provide 39 MW of critical IT load at its Barber Lake site in Texas.
