Unlike other cryptocurrencies, XRP transfers are effectively immediate, requiring no typical confirmation time.  Ripple was originally founded by a single company, Ripple Labs, and continues to be backed by it, rather than the larger network of developers that continue bitcoin’s development. It also doesn’t have a fluctuating amount of its currency in existence. Where bitcoin has a continually growing pool with an eventual maximum, and Ethereum theoretically has no limit, Ripple was created with all of its 100 billion XRP tokens right out of the gate. That number is maintained with no mining and most of the tokens are owned and held by Ripple Labs itself — around 60 billion at the latest count.  Even at the recently reduced value of around half a dollar per XRP, that means Ripple Labs is currently sitting on around $20 billion worth of the cryptocurrency (note: Ripple’s price crashed hard recently, and may be worth far less than $60 billion by time you read this). It holds 55 billion XRP in an escrow account, which allows it to sell up to a billion per month if it so chooses in order to fund new projects and acquisitions. Selling such an amount would likely have a drastic effect on the cryptocurrency’s value, and isn’t something Ripple Labs plans to do anytime soon.  In actuality, Ripple Labs is looking to leverage the technology behind XRP to allow for faster banking transactions around the world. While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are built on the idea of separating financial transactions from the financial organizations of traditional currencies, Ripple is almost the opposite in every sense. <ul class="summary-bullets"><li>BTIG said that UWM Holdings management's change in routine this quarter, of not fielding questions on the earnings call is "catching investors off guard”.</li><li>Keefe Bruyette analyst Bose George called the move "a surprise."</li></ul>UWM Holdings’ shares fell more than 12% on Wednesday as several analysts found the company not fielding questions during its earnings call surprising.&nbsp;At the time of writing the stock was down 11% at $4.06.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Surprised Analysts</h2>BTIG said that UWM Holdings is selling off possibly in reaction to management's change in routine this quarter, which included not fielding questions on the earnings call. This is "catching investors off guard," especially since the company is guiding to slightly lower revenue quarter-over-quarter, and following its "material" acquisition of Two Harbors (TWO), which is still on target to close in June, the analyst told investors in a research note.&nbsp;Keefe Bruyette analyst Bose George said that UWM Holdings (UWMC) hosted its Q4 conference call and management noted they will not field questions, "which was a surprise."The shares had already been weak on the Q1 guidance, and will likely&nbsp;sell off further given the lack of questions on the call, the analyst told investors in a research note.&nbsp;However, BTIG said that UWM's $50 billion of originations in the quarter is solid and helps validate the company's scale.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Q4 Earnings And Q126 Forecast</h2>The company reported a total revenue of $945.2 million in 4Q25 compared to $843.3 million in 3Q25 and $720.6 million in 4Q24. Palantir Technologies (PLTR) shares fell more than 13% in morning trading on Tuesday, with analysts citing valuation concerns despite a strong first-quarter report.The company&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/palantir-wows-retail-traders-with-2025-q1-beat-guidance-hike/chi4p5kRb17">posted</a> adjusted earnings per share of $0.13, meeting analyst expectations, while revenue for the quarter reached $883.86 million, surpassing estimates of $862 million.CEO Alex Karp said that “Palantir is on fire” and that he’s “very optimistic” about the current setup during Monday's earnings call after the bell.While several analysts praised the company’s revenue rising 39% year-over-year (YoY), prompting it to raise its full-year forecast to between $3.89 billion and $3.90 billion, others were more cautious, as per notes to investors cited by TheFly.Mizuho raised its price target to $94 but kept an ‘Underperform’ rating, writing that it is “very difficult to justify the stock's very high multiple,” which it believes already reflects substantial growth expectations.&nbsp;RBC maintained its $40 target and ‘Underperform’ rating, citing concerns over Palantir’s product differentiation and long-term growth runway.&nbsp;The brokerage said the risk-reward profile remains skewed given the stock's premium valuation.Still, some on Wall Street acknowledged the strength of the quarter. (KMI) shares rose over 1% on Monday after the energy infrastructure company <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://ir.kindermorgan.com/news/news-details/2025/Kinder-Morgan-Announces-Acquisition-of-Gas-Gathering--Processing-System-in-Bakken-from-Outrigger-Energy-II/default.aspx">said</a> its subsidiary, Hiland Partners Holdings LLC, will purchase a natural gas gathering and processing system in North Dakota from Outrigger Energy II LLC for $640 million.The deal also includes a 270 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) processing plant and rich gas header system in Williston Basin, North Dakota.KMI Natural Gas Midstream President Tom Dender said the acquisition will enable the firm to efficiently expand its footprint and provide incremental transportation and processing services to meet the growing needs of our customers.The company expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to its shareholders, with 2025 adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) multiple of approximately eight times on a full-year basis.KMI also expects to reduce future capital expenditures needed to accommodate the growth of its existing Bakken customers.Initially, the firm plans to fund the transaction with short-term borrowings and cash.On Stocktwits, retail sentiment jumped into the ‘extremely bullish’ territory from ‘bullish’ a week ago, hitting a one-year high.
