To protect the network from spam, a small amount of XRP is burned during every transaction, and the token is further utilized by institutions as collateral to access traditional markets and manage digital asset infrastructure.  Institutional adoption of the asset reached a major milestone in November 2025 when the SEC approved the first wave of spot XRP ETFs. These products, offered by major issuers including Bitwise, Grayscale, 21Shares, Canary Capital, and Franklin Templeton, are now listed on prominent exchanges like the NYSE Arca, Nasdaq, and Cboe BZX. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Monday that it has closed its investigation into approximately 24,000 model year 2017-2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia vehicles.The U.S. auto safety regulator’s Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) had opened the probe in January 2024 to assess allegations of loss of motive power resulting from low-pressure fuel pump failures in certain Alfa Romeo Giulia vehicles. During its investigation, the NHTSA <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/inv/2024/INCLA-PE24003-86036.pdf">determined</a> that the vehicles were equipped with fuel delivery pumps supplied by Vitesco Technologies Germany GmbH.However, Stellantis issued a recall earlier this month covering 29,467 model-year 2017–2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia vehicles and 24,382 model-year 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles, all equipped with the suspect Vitesco fuel delivery pump. A remedy is under development, the company said.The NHTSA stated that it is closing its probe in light of the recall issued by Stellantis. US Regulator Closes Probe Into Stellantis’ 24,000 Alfa Romeo Giulia Vehicles

The U.S. auto safety regulator’s Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) had opened the probe in January 2024 to assess allegations of loss of motive power resulting from low-pressure fuel pump failures. 

Shares of Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis AG were flat on Friday morning in heavy trading volume, despite the company reporting impressive quarterly results.&nbsp;Novartis posted core fourth-quarter (Q4) earnings per share (EPS) of $1.98, up from $1.53 last year, beating the consensus estimate of $1.80.&nbsp;Meanwhile, Q4 revenue reached $13.2 billion, surpassing the previous year’s $11.4 billion and analysts’ expectations of $12.84 billion.The company attributed its strong sales growth to its blockbuster heart-failure drug Entresto and arthritis medication Cosentyx.&nbsp;CEO Vas Narasimhan expressed optimism, stating, “In our first full year as a pure-play innovative medicines company, Novartis delivered one of the strongest financial performances in our history, growing sales 12% cc [constant currency basis] and core operating income 22% cc.”&nbsp;He added that the company achieved key innovation milestones, including new drug approvals and promising data that would drive growth in the mid- to long-term.Despite the upbeat results, retail sentiment on Stocktwits was mixed.
