For the full year 2025, same store sales fell 1.7%.In fiscal year 2026, the company expects comparable restaurant sales to be about flat though it expects to open 350-370 restaurants including 10 to 15 international partner-operated restaurants. Netflix and WBD are facing a skeptical Senate panel Tuesday to defend their $82.7 billion media merger against concerns it will hurt competition in the streaming market.

At best, we believe CVNA is far less profitable than believed, as a standalone business,” Gotham <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.gothamcityresearch.com/post/carvana-bridgecrest-and-the-undisclosed-transactions-and-debts">said</a> in its report.“At worst, CVNA is more like Tricolor, rather than Amazon. Either way, shares face massive downside risk to the share price,” the firm added.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Analysts Remain Bullish</h2>Meanwhile, JPMorgan raised the price target on Carvana to $510 from $490 and kept an ‘Overweight’ rating on the shares as part of a Q4 earnings preview on Wednesday, citing strong unit growth assumptions. &nbsp;The firm expects Carvana to report a "solid beat and raise" in Q4, but reduced estimates slightly to reflect modestly lower pricing and slightly higher spending to factor in new vehicle franchise acquisitions.Earlier this week, Wells Fargo analyst David Lantz also raised the price target on Carvana to $525 from $500 while keeping an ‘Overweight’ rating on the shares.The used car retailer’s fourth-quarter (Q4) earnings are expected on Feb. 18.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Earnings Expectations</h2>Carvana is a prominent online-only used car retailer headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, known for its "no-dealership" model. Wall Street expects the company to report Q4 revenue of $5.24 billion, up from the $3.55 billion reported in the corresponding quarter of 2024, and earnings of $1.17 per share, lower than the $1.18 reported in Q4 2024, according to data from Fiscal AI.The company had said in October that it expects retail units sold above 150,000 for Q4, provided the operating environment remains stable. Seagate Beats Earnings, Revenue Expectations In Q2 On Strong Data Center Demand

In Q1 2026 alone, the gross tariff impact is expected to be in the $750 million-$1 billion range.The company is also looking to mitigate tariff impact by onshoring production. It said that it is looking to invest $10-$12 billion annually in 2026 and 2027, including approximately $5 billion to expand U.S. manufacturing capacity for some of the highest-demand vehicles.“We expect headwinds in the range of $1-$1.5 billion associated with the onshoring of vehicle production to the U.S., investments to enhance supply chain resiliency, and investments to support our software initiatives,” Jacobson said about 2026 while adding that the investments are expected to increase capacity for the company’s highly-profitable full-size pickups and SUVs.The company also expects incremental headwinds in the range of $1-$1.5 billion, driven primarily by recent trends in aluminum, copper, and other key commodities, in addition to unfavorable foreign exchange movements.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Earnings Update</h2>For the fourth quarter of 2025, GM reported revenue of $45.29 billion, marking a dip of 5.1% year-on-year.Adjusted and diluted earnings came in at $2.51 per share, above a Wall Street estimate of $2.26.The company’s financials in the quarter was impacted by more than $7.2 billion in special charges driven primarily by a realignment of EV capacity and investments to adjust to expected declines in consumer demand for EVs, the company said.The automaker is now combating slowing demand for EVs, spurred by the removal of federal tax credit of $7,500 on the purchase of EVs in the U.S.&nbsp; &nbsp;CEO Mary Barra, however, said that the company continues to believe in EVs.“We know EV drivers don't often go back to ICE, so we'll continue executing our plan to dramatically reduce costs and to be well-positioned for the future. The analyst added that Booz Allen’s stock may rally, given high short interest and a "better than feared" Q3 report.&nbsp;TD has a ‘Hold’ rating and a $105 price target on BAH shares.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Profit Beat Offsets Revenue Drop</h2>The company reported adjusted EPS of $1.77 for the third quarter, jumping up 14% from the same quarter last year. It significantly exceeded analyst estimates of $1.29, according to data from Fiscal.ai.&nbsp;However, the company’s revenue fell 10.2% year-on-year to $2.6 billion, below analysts’ projections of $2.76 billion. The company noted revenue decline was primarily driven by the impact of a slowed procurement and funding environment, including the government shutdown that occurred in the third quarter of fiscal 2026.
