$EBAY EBAY is up about 5.31 percent, near 123.03. For perspective, the stock was around 107 at the end of September, so it's up roughly 15 percent in about two weeks. It's also now close to the 125 dollar per share cash and stock offer GameStop made in May. eBay's board rejected that offer, calling it neither credible nor attractive. GameStop said it would keep pursuing it, though Bloomberg reported in August that it was weighing a partnership instead. I haven't seen anything new on that today, so I can't say it's behind the jump. The core business has been strong too. First half revenue grew about 17 percent and net income about 23 percent. I'd watch for any update from either side. Follow me if you want more on the e-commerce names.

US live commerce grew more than fivefold to 27B in two years, and he estimates eBay Live is already driving at least 40% of the company's fiscal 2026 GMV growth, with roughly four points of annual GMV growth still to come through 2030. Wells Fargo went the other way same morning, Underweight, target to 91 from 92, fiscal 2027 EPS estimate 8% below consensus on Live spending and Vinted competition. Q3 guide sitting in the middle of that split is GMV of 22.0B to 22.4B.
