In another, decentralized communications networks and private infrastructure become more dominant, creating an ecosystem naturally aligned with borderless digital money. The move resulted in $2.1 billion in single-day realized losses, a record high, and sent the weekly RSI to all-time lows.The drop sent a jolt of panic through the market, with analysts saying their inboxes were flooded with anxious messages from clients. They compared the moment to June 2022, when enough top buyers threw in the towel and exited at a loss to mark a major regime shift. According to him, these features are more adaptable to the demands of AI systems, where trust and authentication are becoming increasingly complex.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Hoffman Maintains Decade-Long Bitcoin Position</h2>Hoffman also said that he’s been a Bitcoin (BTC) holder for over a decade and has no plans to sell his holdings. However, he did not disclose how much Bitcoin he holds.“Is there such a thing as an exit price?” Hoffman responded when asked at what price he might consider selling his Bitcoin.&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/coins/bitcoin">Bitcoin’s price</a> edged 0.15% higher in the last 24 hours to around $81,400. This is after it hit a fresh three-month high of over $87,500 earlier in the day. In 2014, Bitcoin was still trading in the hundreds range, meaning that Hoffman’s holdings have most likely appreciated by orders of magnitude.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Hoffman' s Crypto Exposure Extends Beyond Bitcoin</h2>According to Arkham Intelligence&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://intel.arkm.com/explorer/entity/reid-hoffman">data</a>, Hoffman also holds around $7.2 million worth of Ethereum (ETH) in a publicly known wallet address, and also owns a CryptoPunk NFT, purchased for 150 ETH.&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/coins/ethereum">Ethereum’s price</a> edged 0.8% lower in the last 24 hours, but held above $2,300. Traditional financial systems can reverse transactions, he said, contrasting this with Bitcoin’s “bearer and final” design.
