$IAUX (i-80 Gold, Nevada gold miner) moved Cove underground, billed in August as its third underground mine, later in its plan and put Mineral Point open pit next, ahead of Granite Creek open pit, targeting 400,000–500,000 oz of gold a year from 2031. 2028 target of 150,000–200,000 oz unchanged. Company: ~$1.38B market value at the $1.59 Oct 12 close; $464.6M cash at June 30. Catch: the targets rest mostly on resources, not guidance, and it is talking to lenders about a revolver if needed. Next: Mineral Point pre-feasibility ~mid-2027.
