Novavax Sees Higher Revenue From Partners For Full-Year, Raises Revenue Guidance

We expect this momentum to continue through Q4 and beyond, and as a result, we are raising our guidance,” he added.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Revised Guidance, Q3 Fineprint</h2>The company now <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://ir.ardelyx.com/news-releases/news-release-details/ardelyx-reports-third-quarter-2025-financial-results-and">expects </a>revenue to be between $270 million and $ 275 million from Ibsrela for the full year. In the third quarter, the drug generated revenue of $78.2 million, marking a growth of 92%, and accounting for 74% of the company’s total product revenue for the period.U.S. revenue for Xphozah, used to reduce serum phosphorus in adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on dialysis, was $27.4 million in Q3 despite dynamic market situations, the company said. Ardelyx now expects continued growth in the fourth quarter for the drug.Total revenue in the quarter, including product and licensing revenue, came in at $110.3 million, above an analyst estimate of $100.54 million. Net loss in the quarter was $1 million, slightly wider than the $0.8 million net loss reported in the corresponding quarter of 2024.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Future Pipeline</h2>In the third quarter, Ardelyx began developing RDX10531, an early-stage drug candidate. The company is now looking forward to filing an Investigational New Drug submission with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the candidate in 2026, to initiate trials in humans.“We are committed Larimar Therapeutics, Inc. (LRMR) on Monday announced positive data from an ongoing long-term open-label study evaluating daily subcutaneous injections of Nomlabofusp in participants with Friedreich’s Ataxia.Friedreich's Ataxia (FA) is a rare, inherited disorder causing progressive damage to the nervous system, leading to symptoms like poor coordination, difficulty walking, and sensory loss, as well as heart disease and scoliosis. It is caused by a mutation in the FXN gene, resulting in a deficiency of the mitochondrial protein frataxin.In the <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2025/09/29/3157570/0/en/Larimar-Therapeutics-Announces-Positive-Data-from-Ongoing-Long-term-Open-Label-Study-and-Updates-to-Nomlabofusp-Program-for-Friedreich-s-Ataxia.html">study,</a> an increase in skin frataxin (FXN) levels was observed with short- and long-term daily Nomlabofusp. All ten participants with data at six months achieved skin FXN levels over 50% of median levels in healthy volunteers, the company stated. It added that consistent directional improvement across multiple clinical outcomes was also observed after a year of Nomlabofusp treatment.“These new data, as well as the improvement in abnormal lipid profiles observed in prior completed studies, provide support that nomlabofusp increases FXN in patients with FA and that the strategy of FXN replacement has the potential to result in a clinical benefit,” said CEO Carole Ben-Maimon.Shares of the company tumbled 47% in the pre-market session after the company reported that anaphylaxis, or a severe allergic reaction, was observed in seven participants in the open-label study, and they were subsequently withdrawn from the study. Most instances of anaphylaxis occurred on the initial day of administration and most within the first six weeks of dosing, it noted.Other discontinuations in the study included three cases of generalized urticaria, one seizure, one vasovagal event, and two non-treatment-related discontinuations, it said.The company said that it consulted experts and decided to modify its starting dose regimen after the two most recent cases of anaphylaxis. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has agreed with the approach, the company said. Larimar Therapeutics Stock Slumps Pre-market Over High Anaphylaxis Rate In Drug Study

Harrow (HROW) announced on Friday that it has entered into an agreement to acquire privately held Melt Pharmaceuticals for an undisclosed price.While Harrow is a provider of ophthalmic disease management solutions, Melt Pharmaceuticals is focused on developing non-opioid therapies for sedation during medical procedures. Melt was spun out of Harrow in January 2019.The acquisition will <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.harrow.com/news-releases/news-release-details/harrow-acquire-melt-pharmaceuticals">include</a> Melt’s lead investigational therapy, MELT-300, a sublingually delivered formulation of a fixed dose of Midazolam (3mg) and Ketamine (50mg) designed to provide rapid, predictable sedation and analgesia without the need for intravenous administration.Shares of Harrow jumped 4% at the time of writing. The company guided to flat to a 2.5% increase in net sales, translating to $1.56-$1.6 billion.&nbsp;Ahead of the results, Citigroup said it expects above-consensus adjusted EPS due to a slightly stronger gross margin and lower spending, the Fly&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://thefly.com/news.php?symbol=BBWI">reported.</a> While conceding that the third quarter was another difficult quarter to drive sales, due to consumers remaining price-sensitive and the lack of big promotions to drive traffic, the firm said the second-half guidance is conservative enough.&nbsp;Citi believes that the fourth quarter is the best opportunity for the company to deliver upside to sales guidance this year. The firm has a Neutral rating and $35 price target for the stock.
