What is Chromia? Chromia is an open source public blockchain conceived of by Swedish company Chromaway AB. The Chroma token (CHR) was launched in May of 2019. The technology behind the Chromia blockchain is adapted from an earlier technology called ‘Postchain’, a solution provided by Chromaway AB for enterprise clients.&nbsp;  How does Chromia work? Chromia is a standalone Layer-1 blockchain and EVM compatible Layer-2 enhancement for Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum. It is designed to enhance existing dApps and allow for the creation of next-generation dApps by providing scalability, improved data handling, and customizable fee structures. The blockchain uses a unique architecture called relational blockchain, as well as a custom programming language called Rell.  Rell is designed to code and function very similarly to SQL, allowing developers to leverage the security and immutability of blockchain while storing and handling data with the efficiency of a relational database.&nbsp; Each dApp running on Chromia operates on its own sidechain which is rooted in the main blockchain. This allows each application to scale more efficiently and gives each application developer the freedom to choose from a variety of fee structures. For example, one application may require users to pay transaction fees in CHR (similar to how Ethereum or Bitcoin work), while another application could stake enough CHR to reserve computational power and allow their users to make unlimited transactions without paying any fees at all.&nbsp;  What applications have been built on Chromia? Chromia already has a wide variety of applications building upon their blockchain, using their chain as a decentralized storage layer, and using their Layer-2 enhancements. These applications range from DeFi options trading platform Hedget, to open world farming game My Neighbor Alice, to government land registry initiative LAC PropertyChain.&nbsp; One of the latest features in development is a new NFT standard called Chromia Originals, which will operate both as a native standard on Chromia’s chain as well as an enhancement layer for existing ERC-721 and BEP-721 tokens. Work on these Layer-2 enhancements are being developed in cooperation with My Neighbor Alice.  Who is behind Chromia? Chromia’s core team consists of industry veterans Or Perelman, Henrik Hjelte and Alex Mizrahi. All three have deep roots in the crypto space, going back to the early days of Bitcoin and Ethereum. For example, Alex published several early academic papers on Proof of Stake consensus and was also one of the key figures behind Colored Coins, one of the first projects to develop the idea of ‘tokens’ that would later be brought to prominence by Ethereum. The platform’s native token, SOL, serves as the primary currency for paying transaction fees, participating in network governance, and securing the system through staking. The Cosmos network consists of many independent, parallel blockchains, called zones, each powered by classical Byzantine fault-tolerant (BFT) consensus protocols like Tendermint. Some zones act as hubs with respect to other zones, allowing many zones to interoperate through a shared hub. The architecture uses classic BFT and Proof-of-Stake algorithms, instead of Proof-of-Work. Cosmos can interoperate with multiple other applications and cryptocurrencies, something other blockchains can’t do well. By creating a new zone, you can plug any blockchain system into the Cosmos hub and pass tokens back and forth between those zones, without the need for an intermediary.  While the Cosmos Hub is a multi-asset distributed ledger, there is a special native token called the atom. ATOM have three use cases: as a spam-prevention mechanism, as staking tokens, and as a voting mechanism in governance.  As a spam prevention mechanism, ATOM are used to pay fees. The fee may be proportional to the amount of computation required by the transaction, similar to Ethereum’s concept of “gas”. Fee distribution is done in-protocol and a protocol specification is described here.  As staking tokens, ATOM can be “bonded” in order to earn block rewards. The economic security of the Cosmos Hub is a function of the amount of ATOM staked. The more ATOM that are collateralized, the more “skin” there is at stake and the higher the cost of attacking the network. Thus, the more ATOM there are bonded, the greater the economic security of the network.  Atom holders may govern the Cosmos Hub by voting on proposals with their staked ATOM.

The company declared earnings per share of $0.20, significantly higher than analysts’ projections of $0.14.However, the company said that a disruption in its account with its largest advertising partner, driven by algorithm changes, led to lower-quality auctions at abnormally high costs.“This is resulting in significant increases in new user acquisition costs that are not correlated with the market or our historical experience. The firm called Pagaya a leader in AI-enabled credit underwriting with a “unique” two-sided ecosystem.According to Koyfin, of the 11 analysts covering the PGY stock, 10 have either ‘Buy’ or ‘Strong Buy’ recommendations, while one analyst has a ‘Hold’ rating. The 12-month average price target for the PGY stock is $38.18.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Pagaya’s Recent Partnerships</h2>Pagaya entered into multiple partnerships since the beginning of 2026, with the most recent being a $800 million asset-backed securitization (ABS) transaction announced last week. PGY Stock Tanks 26% Today – Q4 Revenue Misses Wall Street Expectations

(MGIC) shares rallied Tuesday after the IT consulting services and application development platforms company reported positive fourth-quarter results and guided 2025 revenue above the consensus estimate.&nbsp;The company also confirmed a going-private transaction.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Or Yehuda, Israel-based company reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.24 for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2024, flat&nbsp;compared to the year-ago period and in line with the Finchat-compiled consensus estimate.Revenue climbed 13.6% year over year to $142.6 million, faster than the 10.4% growth for the third quarter. The topline also exceeded the $137 million consensus estimate.For the full year, Magic Software reported an adjusted EPS of $0.93 and revenue of $552.5 million, ahead of the consensus estimate of $544 million to $550 million.&nbsp;The company's cash flow from operating activities for the year was $74.7 million, compared to $69 million in 2024. The company ended the year with a cash position of $112.8 million.CEO Guy Bernstein said, “Our continued investment in cutting-edge digital and cloud transformation solutions has reinforced our position as a trusted partner for our clients.”“With a strengthening demand environment in the U.S. and a solid pipeline of opportunities, we are confident in our ability to sustain momentum and drive long-term profitability, delivering lasting value to our shareholders.”The company initiated its fiscal year 2025 guidance that calls for revenue of $593 million to $603 million versus the&nbsp;consensus estimate of $566.30 million.Separately, Magic Software confirmed signing a new memorandum of understanding under which Matrix will acquire its entire share capital through a reverse triangular merger. Magic Software Stock Rallies On In-line Q4 EPS, Positive Guidance:  Retail Mood Stays Gloomy Amid Going Private Deal
