That number is maintained with no mining and most of the tokens are owned and held by Ripple Labs itself — around 60 billion at the latest count.  Even at the recently reduced value of around half a dollar per XRP, that means Ripple Labs is currently sitting on around $20 billion worth of the cryptocurrency (note: Ripple’s price crashed hard recently, and may be worth far less than $60 billion by time you read this). It holds 55 billion XRP in an escrow account, which allows it to sell up to a billion per month if it so chooses in order to fund new projects and acquisitions. Selling such an amount would likely have a drastic effect on the cryptocurrency’s value, and isn’t something Ripple Labs plans to do anytime soon.  In actuality, Ripple Labs is looking to leverage the technology behind XRP to allow for faster banking transactions around the world. While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are built on the idea of separating financial transactions from the financial organizations of traditional currencies, Ripple is almost the opposite in every sense.  Netflix, WBD Will Continue To Operate As They Are Doing Now, Ted Sarandos Tells Senate 

Netflix and WBD are facing a skeptical Senate panel Tuesday to defend their $82.7 billion media merger against concerns it will hurt competition in the streaming market. 

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>The company reported revenue of $1.08 billion for the quarter, 44% higher than the same period last year, and well above analyst estimates of $970.5 million.</li><li>Teradyne CEO Greg Smith said that in 2026, the company expects year-over-year growth across all of its businesses, with strong momentum in compute, driven by AI.&nbsp;</li><li>Teradyne’s revenue guidance for the first quarter of 2026 is $1.15 billion to $1.25 billion.&nbsp;</li></ul>Shares of Teradyne (TER) rallied more than 20% during extended hours of trading on Monday after the company posted fourth quarter (Q4) earnings that beat analyst estimates, according to data from Fiscal.ai.&nbsp;The company said Q4 growth was driven by strong AI-related demand in compute and memory.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Upbeat Results</h2>Teradyne’s net income in Q4 2025 was $283.0 million, or $1.80 per diluted share, jumping nearly 90% from the year-ago quarter and surging past analyst estimates of $1.36 per share, as per Fiscal.ai.&nbsp;The company reported revenue of $1.08 billion for the quarter, 44% higher than the same period last year, and well above analyst estimates of $970.5 million. Of the total revenue, $883 million came from its Semiconductor Test segment, $110 million came from Product Test, and $89 million from Robotics.&nbsp;“Our Q4 results were above the high end of our guidance range, fueled by AI-related demand in compute, networking and memory within our Semi Test business. Across all of our business groups – Semi Test, Product Test, and Robotics – we experienced sequential growth, and at the company level we achieved 13% growth in 2025,” said Teradyne CEO, Greg Smith.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Outlook</h2>The company provided guidance for the first quarter of 2026, with revenue expectations of $1.15 billion to $1.25 billion, and adjusted net income of $1.89 to $2.25 per diluted share.“In 2026, we expect year-over-year growth across all of our businesses, with strong momentum in compute driven by AI,” Smith said.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Upbeat Analyst</h2>Earlier on Monday, Evercore ISI raised the price target on Teradyne to $280 from $200 and kept an ‘Outperform’ rating on the shares.&nbsp;The firm said that it believes the fundamentals on Teradyne are positive, as it sees multiple paths for upside to estimates, according to TheFly. Either way, shares face massive downside risk to the share price,” the firm added.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Analysts Remain Bullish</h2>Meanwhile, JPMorgan raised the price target on Carvana to $510 from $490 and kept an ‘Overweight’ rating on the shares as part of a Q4 earnings preview on Wednesday, citing strong unit growth assumptions. &nbsp;The firm expects Carvana to report a "solid beat and raise" in Q4, but reduced estimates slightly to reflect modestly lower pricing and slightly higher spending to factor in new vehicle franchise acquisitions.Earlier this week, Wells Fargo analyst David Lantz also raised the price target on Carvana to $525 from $500 while keeping an ‘Overweight’ rating on the shares.The used car retailer’s fourth-quarter (Q4) earnings are expected on Feb. 18.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Earnings Expectations</h2>Carvana is a prominent online-only used car retailer headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, known for its "no-dealership" model. Wall Street expects the company to report Q4 revenue of $5.24 billion, up from the $3.55 billion reported in the corresponding quarter of 2024, and earnings of $1.17 per share, lower than the $1.18 reported in Q4 2024, according to data from Fiscal AI.The company had said in October that it expects retail units sold above 150,000 for Q4, provided the operating environment remains stable. MRD-negativity indicates that highly sensitive tests cannot detect any cancer cells in a patient’s bone marrow.Darzalex Faspro is a prescription medicine approved by the FDA in May 2020 and used to treat adult patients with multiple myeloma alone or in combination with other drugs. In November, the FDA also approved it as a single-agent treatment for adult patients with high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma, making it the first and only treatment for the disease.Multiple myeloma is a blood cancer arising from plasma cells in the bone marrow, causing them to grow uncontrollably, destroy bone, and impair immune function by producing abnormal proteins (M protein). Symptoms include bone pain (especially back or ribs), fatigue, weakness, kidney issues, and frequent infections. It is the second most common blood cancer worldwide.<h2 class="st-heading-2">JNJ’s Oncology Pipeline</h2>Earlier this month, Johnson &amp; Johnson reported oncology segment sales of $25.38 billion, marking growth of 22.1% year-on-year, and accounting for about 27% of the company’s overall sales. The online retailer reportedly said in an internal letter that “This generation of AI is the most transformative technology we’ve seen since the Internet, and it’s enabling companies to innovate much faster than ever before.”Amazon CEO Andy Jassy told analysts during the company’s third-quarter earnings call that the reduction was “not really financially driven and it’s not even really AI-driven.”&nbsp;Affected workers in October were told they would remain on the payroll for 90 days, during which time they could apply for jobs internally or seek other employment, the report added. That period will expire on Monday, next week.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Overall Headcount Impact</h2>The Reuters report on Thursday noted that 30,000 jobs will represent a small portion of Amazon’s 1.58 million employees, but nearly 10% of the firm’s corporate workforce. The majority of Amazon’s workers are in fulfillment centers and warehouses.However, it will be the third-largest layoff in the company's history.
