$KOPN Kopin landed a second Army award Thursday for its color MicroLED displays, another 18.6 million dollars sole-sourced through the IBAS program. Total US government funding is now 34 million dollars. The money is specifically for building out US MicroLED manufacturing capacity, with two more display configurations aimed at ground-soldier and pilot applications. Shares finished up about 6% to 4.46 on Friday.

$KOPN That $7 Oppenheimer target is what got a lot of investors' attention last week. Oppenheimer initiated coverage of Kopin with an Outperform rating and a $7 price target, which represents roughly 45% to 50% upside from the current ~$4.85 share price.
