What is DAG? In more traditional blockchains, the host provides the food/drinks (i.e resources) for this party. And when the guests arrive, the amount of resources can only accommodate so many people, the portions are small and then everything eventually runs out and the party ends. Think Constellation DAG like a potluck (a party where everyone brings food/drinks). With every added guest (node to the network), the more resources the party has to keep going. This is the nature of Constellation, a distributed system that scales horizontally.  Is Constellation a Blockchain? Not exactly. Although inspired by the principles of decentralization, many standard blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum face scalability issues. This is why the next, generation of decentralized networks such as Hashgraph, IOTA, and Constellation have turned to DAG.  What is a Microservice? “Microservices” is an approach to application development in which a large application is built as a suite of modular services. Each module supports a specific business goal and uses a simple, well-defined interface to communicate with other sets of services. Uber, for example, is not a singular app purse. It is a unified app which means it is a single interface that brings together their driver app, their rider app, and their corporate team app.

The Stellar network is an open source, distributed, and community owned network used to facilitate cross-asset transfers of value. Stellar aims to help facilitate cross-asset transfer of value at a fraction of a penny while aiming to be an open financial system that gives people of all income levels access to low-cost financial services. Stellar can handle exchanges between fiat-based currencies and between cryptocurrencies. Stellar.org, the organization that supports Stellar, is centralized like XRP and meant to handle cross platform transactions and micro transactions like XRP. However, unlike Ripple, Stellar.org is non-profit and their platform itself is open source and decentralized.   Stellar was founded by Jed McCaleb in 2014. Jed McCaleb is also the founder of Mt. Gox and co-founder of Ripple, launched the network system Stellar with former lawyer Joyce Kim. Stellar is also a payment technology that aims to connect financial institutions and drastically reduce the cost and time required for cross-border transfers. In fact, both payment networks used the same protocol initially.  Distributed Exchange Through the use of its intermediary currency Lumens (XLM), a user can send any currency that they own to anyone else in a different currency.  For instance, if Joe wanted to send USD to Mary using her EUR, an offer is submitted to the distributed exchange selling USD for EUR. This submitted offer forms is known as an order book. The network will use the order book to find the best exchange rate for the transaction in-order to minimize the fee paid by a user.  This multi-currency transaction is possible because of "Anchors". Anchors are trusted entities that hold people’s deposits and can issue credit. In essence, Anchors serves as the bridge between different currencies and the Stellar network.  Lumens (XLM) Lumens are the native asset (digital currency) that exist on the Stellar network that helps to facilitate multi-currency transactions and prevent spams. For multi-currency transactions, XLM is the digital intermediary that allows for such a transaction to occur at a low cost.  In-order to prevent DoS attacks (aka spams) that would inevitably occur on the Stellar network, a small fee of 0.00001 XLM is associated with every transaction that occurs on the network. This fee is small enough so it does not significantly affect the cost of transaction, but large enough so it dissuades bad actors from spamming the network.   Prior to Protocol 12, Stellar had a built-in inflation mechanism conceived to allow account holders to collectively direct inflation-generated lumens toward projects built on Stellar.  As the network evolved and grew, it became increasingly clear that inflation wasn’t working as intended — account holders either didn’t set their inflation destination or joined inflation pools to claim the inflation themselves, and the operational costs associated with inflation payments continued to rise — and so a protocol change to disable inflation was proposed, implemented, voted on by validators, and ultimately adopted as part of a network upgrade. Thus, the startup name shows that only cryptocurrencies can be traded against each other. It is not possible to trade crypto currencies against Fiat. The platform achieved an enormous success within a very short time and is focused on worldwide market with Malta headquarters. The cryptocurrency currently has a daily trading volume of 1.5 billion - 2 billion US dollars and is still increasing.  In total, there will only be 200 million BNBs. Binance uses the ERC20 token standard from Ethereum and has distributed it as follow: 50% sold on ICO, 40% to the team and 10% to Angel investors. The coin can be used to pay fees on Binance. These include trading fees, transaction fees, listing fees and others. Binance gives you a huge discount when fees are paid in BNB.   The schedule of BNB fees discount is as follow: In the first year, 50% discount on all fees, second year 25% discount, third year 12.5% discount, fourth year 6.75 % discount, and from the fifth year onwards there is no discount. This structure is used to incentivize users to buy BNB and do trades within Binance.  Binance announced in a buyback plan that it would buy back up to 100 million BNB in Q1 2018. The coins are then burned. This means that they are devaluated to increase the value of the remaining coins. This benefits investors. In the future, the cryptocurrency will remain an asset on the trading platform and will be used as gas.  Other tokens that are issued by exchanges include Bibox Token, OKB, Huobi Token, and more.

Why Is Alibaba Stock Falling Premarket Today?

Alibaba was one of the favourites among Chinese stocks last year, before its price retreated at the fag end.

The stock had gained 5.3% the previous day.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Analysts’ Take</h2>Morgan Stanley lowered its price target on BABA to $180 from $200, according to an investor note on Thursday, Investing.com reported. Its analysts warned that “core e-comm businesses have started to worsen, due to weak consumption” trends in China, adding that the segment “may remain under pressure in 1HF27 due to a high base.”&nbsp;They said Alibaba’s overall profitability could weaken in the near to medium term, although strength in the cloud unit is expected to continue.&nbsp;Jefferies lowered its price target on the Chinese tech giant’s shares to $225 from $231, while affirming Alibaba as a top pick in 2026 given its opportunities in artificial intelligence and cloud.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Investors Still Largely Bullish&nbsp;</h2>Alibaba rallied widely in 2025, thanks to a rapid pace of AI rollout and commitment to higher investment in the domain, although&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/alibaba-stock-cools-off-into-year-end/cL75re3REDw">shares retreated</a> slightly towards the end of the year.The stock is widely watched at the moment, as China is reportedly set to allow sales of Nvidia’s H200 processor in the country. Alibaba Stock Cools Off Into Year-End, But Its AI Engine Is Giving Bulls No Reason To Bail

Overall, 2025 shaped up to be a busy and significant year for Alibaba, with fast-growing AI initiatives, firmer cloud trends, and healthy stock appreciation.

That’s up from 150 billion yuan in 2025.Together with Alibaba’s $53 billion AI spending pledge – which CEO Eddie Wu has said could rise further – and the rapid pace of rollouts, China’s AI industry is already expanding and appears set for continued rapid growth.Although the capital spending of Chinese tech giants is well below that of American heavyweights such as Amazon and Google, the gap in AI advancement is diminishing.&nbsp;<figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:673/387;" src="https://news.stocktwits-cdn.com/Screenshot_2025_12_23_at_2_44_06_PM_png_8d96aeec46.webp" alt="Screenshot 2025-12-23 at 2.44.06 PM.png" width="673" height="387"></figure>&nbsp;Earlier in the year, Chinese startup DeepSeek stunned the market by producing benchmark AI models at a fraction of the cost of those from OpenAI. Around the same time, Alibaba launched an aggressive AI plan, which later saw the release of several iterations of its Qwen AI technology and a ChatGPT-like Qwen AI app, which would be rolled out globally next year.&nbsp;AI development strengthened Alibaba’s cloud business and lifted the company’s stock, reviving interest in the Chinese tech sector and drawing renewed attention from global investors. BABA is up about 80% year-to-date and is on track to record its second-best annual gain since its 2014 listing.The momentum has trickled into AI-adjoining industries, such as semiconductors. Stocktwits&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/china-probably-won-t-need-nvidia-for-long-beijing-s-homegrown-ai-chip-empire-is-rising-stealthily/cLIrvzgREZK">reported</a> earlier this month that Chinese chip makers, too, had a strong year.
