Bumble Developing AI-Powered Matchmaking App: Report

 According to The Wall Street Journal, the company plans to launch a beta version of the app to select users this fall, which will be separate from the existing Bumble app. 

Dynavax Technologies Corp. (DVAX) on Thursday said that its experimental Shingles vaccine yielded positive results in an early-to-mid-stage study as compared to GSK Plc’s (GSK) Shingrix vaccine. &nbsp;Herpes zoster, or shingles, is a viral infection that affects approximately one in three people in their lifetime. The disease is characterized by a painful rash and can lead to serious complications, particularly in older adults.The company evaluated the experimental vaccine in participants aged 50 to 69 years for the first part of the study, and it showed that at one month after the second vaccine dose, Z-1018 <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://investors.dynavax.com/news-releases/news-release-details/dynavax-announces-positive-topline-phase-12-results-supporting">demonstrated</a> immune responses similar to those observed in the arm receiving Shingrix with a favorable tolerability profile.On Stocktwits, retail sentiment around <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/DVAX">DVAX stock</a> jumped from ‘bearish’ to ‘bullish’ over the past 24 hours, while message volume rose from ‘normal’ to ‘high’ levels. At the dose formulation and regimen chosen for advancing to the next part of the trial, Z-1018 achieved 100% antibody production compared to Shingrix at 96.9%, the company said.Furthermore, only 12.5% of participants receiving Z-1018 at the dose reported local post-injection reactions, compared to 52.6% for Shingrix, the company said. Incyte is now focusing on its development pipeline as its cancer drug, Jakafi, nears patent expiration.“Continued progress and diversification of our portfolio, including advancements with povorcitinib and mutCALR, are strengthening the foundation for sustainable, long-term growth,” CEO Bill Meury said.Jakafi net revenue came in at $764 million in the second quarter of the year, marking a growth of 8% year-on-year, and accounting for about 63% of the company’s total revenue in the quarter of $1.216 billion, which surpassed Wall Street expectations. &nbsp;For the full year, the company is eyeing revenue of $3 billion to $3.5 billion from Jakafi.Another important drug from the company is its Opzelura cream, used to treat nonsegmental vitiligo, which brought in revenues of $164 million in the second quarter, marking a growth of 35% year-on-year.Overall, for the second quarter, the company reported an adjusted and diluted earnings per share of $1.57, compared to a loss per share of $1.82 reported in the corresponding period of 2024.According to data from Koyfin, 11 of 27 analysts covering the stock rate it ‘Buy’ or higher, while 15 rate it ‘Hold’, and just one rates it a ‘Sell’. Barclays Initiates Incyte With Overweight Rating, $90 Price Target, Retail Finds Reason To Cheer 

Barclays sees "value-inflecting" data readouts for the pharmaceutical company in the second half of 2025 and 2026.

Autoliv (ALV) CEO Mikael Bratt stated on Friday that the company has already recovered a significant portion of the tariff costs from customers in the second quarter and hopes to recover the remaining later this year.“We remain confident that we can continue to successfully receive compensation from our customers for tariffs, although the industry outlook for tariffs is uncertain. We recovered around 80% of tariff costs in the second quarter, and we expect to recover most of what remains later in the year,” <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.autoliv.com/press/financial-report-april-june-2025-2377086">said</a> CEO Mikael Bratt.The company stated that U.S. tariffs had an estimated 35 basis points (bps) negative impact on its operating margin in the second quarter (Q2).<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/ALV">Autoliv</a> also increased its full-year guidance for organic sales growth to around 3% from its previous expectation of about 2%, due to tariff compensation. It also reiterated its adjusted operating margin of around 10% to 10.5%.The company’s second-quarter earnings exceeded Wall Street expectations, despite uncertainties related to tariffs. The supplier of automotive safety systems, such as airbags and seatbelts, reported net sales of $2.71 billion, up 4.2% year-over-year and above an analyst estimate of $2.64 billion, according to data from Fiscal AI. &nbsp;While the company’s sales were negatively impacted by reduced light vehicle production in certain regions, such as the Americas and Europe, tariff compensations contributed to growth, the company said.Adjusted and diluted earnings came in at $2.21, compared to $1.87 in the corresponding period of last year, and above an analyst estimate of $2.09.The firm attributed the rise in profits to organic sales growth and successful execution of cost reductions, including measures such as a 5% reduction in total headcount.
