RAIL also missed profit expectations of $0.19 per share, as per Fiscal.ai.&nbsp;</p><p>“In 2025, FreightCar America executed with discipline amid a challenging industry environment, delivering revenue in line with our expectations while producing exceptional profitability,” said Nick Randall, President and Chief Executive Officer of FreightCar America.</p><p>The company said that its gross margin was at 13.4% with gross profit of $16.8 million, compared to gross margin of 15.3% with gross profit of $21.0 million in the fourth quarter of 2024.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Outlook</h2><p>The company said it expects FY 2026 revenue of $500 million to $550 million.
