What is Chromia? Chromia is an open source public blockchain conceived of by Swedish company Chromaway AB. The Chroma token (CHR) was launched in May of 2019. For example, one application may require users to pay transaction fees in CHR (similar to how Ethereum or Bitcoin work), while another application could stake enough CHR to reserve computational power and allow their users to make unlimited transactions without paying any fees at all.&nbsp;  What applications have been built on Chromia? Chromia already has a wide variety of applications building upon their blockchain, using their chain as a decentralized storage layer, and using their Layer-2 enhancements. The Cosmos network consists of many independent, parallel blockchains, called zones, each powered by classical Byzantine fault-tolerant (BFT) consensus protocols like Tendermint. Some zones act as hubs with respect to other zones, allowing many zones to interoperate through a shared hub. The architecture uses classic BFT and Proof-of-Stake algorithms, instead of Proof-of-Work. Cosmos can interoperate with multiple other applications and cryptocurrencies, something other blockchains can’t do well. By creating a new zone, you can plug any blockchain system into the Cosmos hub and pass tokens back and forth between those zones, without the need for an intermediary. ATOM have three use cases: as a spam-prevention mechanism, as staking tokens, and as a voting mechanism in governance.  As a spam prevention mechanism, ATOM are used to pay fees. The fee may be proportional to the amount of computation required by the transaction, similar to Ethereum’s concept of “gas”. Fee distribution is done in-protocol and a protocol specification is described here.  As staking tokens, ATOM can be “bonded” in order to earn block rewards. The economic security of the Cosmos Hub is a function of the amount of ATOM staked. The more ATOM that are collateralized, the more “skin” there is at stake and the higher the cost of attacking the network. Thus, the more ATOM there are bonded, the greater the economic security of the network.  Atom holders may govern the Cosmos Hub by voting on proposals with their staked ATOM.

It also hiked its price target on shares to $137 from $77, implying nearly 19% upside from Thursday’s close.&nbsp;“Looking ahead, the biggest growth drivers for Cisco will likely be hyperscaler AI build-outs and enterprise artificial intelligence networking upgrades, in addition to campus modernization as requirements for traffic, security, and latency increase, according to HSBC.“Despite gross margin pressure, management has credible offsets through pricing, tighter contract terms, supply chain commitments, [operational expenditure] discipline, and lower memory utilization within designs,” analyst Stephen Bersey said in a note to clients, accessed by CNBC.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">CSCO Q3 Performance&nbsp;</h2>CSCO’s revenue increased 12% in the quarter ended April 25 to $15.8 billion from $14.15 billion a year earlier, beating expectations of $15.6 billion. The firm also raised its full-year revenue guidance to between $7.65 - $7.66 billion, beating expectations of $7.28 billion. &nbsp;The company also forecast full-year income from its U.S. commercial business to hit an excess of $3.22 billion, 120% higher than the previous year.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">PLTR Valuations&nbsp;</h2>Palantir’s stretched multiples have been a deterrent for investors. PLTR Reports Largest Quarterly Revenue Jump, Quadrupled Profits, But Valuation Concerns Persist

The rout has worsened especially since Donald Trump announced Kevin Warsh as the nominee to become the next Federal Reserve chair.&nbsp;The world’s largest cryptocurrency has also been seeing billions of outflows in its ETFs and has been struggling to cross the $80K levels. Bitcoin earlier in the day plunged below $68,000 levels and hit its lowest in 15 months. At the time of writing, BTC was down 6.4% to $68,305.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Downbeat Analyst</h2>BTIG lowered the firm's price target on Coinbase to $340 from $420 and kept a ‘Buy’ rating on the shares ahead of the Q4 report on February 12.&nbsp;The firm said that the stock has fallen 49% since the Q3 report, compared to the total crypto market cap falling 32%. BTIG attributed Coinbase's selloff expectations for Q4 weakness in transaction volume relative to Q3 and the broader market.&nbsp;The firm said it sees an attractive entry point at current share levels. Coinbase is "creating a flywheel" between its trading business and digital asset applications, contends the analyst. ELF Stock Rallies As Much As 15% After Hours On Strong Q3 Earnings, Upward Guidance Revision For FY26

However the profit fell short of analyst expectations of $0.15 per share.&nbsp;The company saw its global monthly active users (MAU) in Q4 reach 946 million, an increase of 51 million or 6% year-over-year.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Outlook</h2>The company in prepared remarks ahead of its Q4 earnings call said, "For Q1 specifically, our guidance range for revenue is $1.50 billion to $1.53 billion,” It said the Q1 revenue guidance range excludes any potential revenue from the Perplexity integration as it is yet to mutually agree on a path to a broader roll out.”The company estimates that Adjusted core profit will be between $170 million and $190 million in Q1.&nbsp;“As we begin 2026, we are excited to execute on our pivot toward profitable growth and to make incremental progress toward our medium term goal of delivering meaningful Net Income profitability.
