Institutional adoption of the asset reached a major milestone in November 2025 when the SEC approved the first wave of spot XRP ETFs. These products, offered by major issuers including Bitwise, Grayscale, 21Shares, Canary Capital, and Franklin Templeton, are now listed on prominent exchanges like the NYSE Arca, Nasdaq, and Cboe BZX. While Ripple remains a key contributor to the ecosystem, the underlying XRP Ledger continues to operate as an open-source and decentralized network.

The network operates through thousands of independent validator nodes that process transactions and execute smart contracts on the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Smart contracts are self-executing programs written in Solidity that automatically carry out agreements when conditions are met, eliminating intermediaries like banks or brokers.   Validators stake ETH as collateral to propose and validate blocks, earning rewards for honest participation while facing penalties for malicious behavior. The EIP-1559 upgrade introduced a dynamic base fee mechanism that burns ETH with each transaction, creating deflationary pressure during high network activity when more ETH is burned than issued to validators.  Vitalik Buterin proposed Ethereum in 2013, but seven co-founders helped build it, including Gavin Wood who created Solidity and the EVM technical specification, and Joseph Lubin who founded ConsenSys. The project launched in July 2015 after raising over $18 million through crowdfunding, quickly becoming the largest blockchain developer community. Major milestones include the 2020 Beacon Chain launch, the 2021 London hard fork implementing fee burning, and the 2022 Merge to Proof of Stake.   Ether (ETH) serves multiple functions: paying transaction fees (gas), staking to secure the network and earn 3-5% annual yields, serving as collateral in DeFi protocols, and purchasing NFTs and digital assets. The asset is increasingly adopted by traditional institutions, with publicly traded companies adding ETH to corporate treasuries to generate staking yields while maintaining blockchain exposure, and in 2024, the SEC approved spot Ethereum ETFs, allowing traditional investors to gain exposure through conventional brokerage accounts.  Ethereum's roadmap focuses on dramatically increasing transaction capacity to over 100,000 per second, reducing confirmation times, and enhancing decentralization while maintaining security against future threats like quantum computing.

Users can choose between transparent public transactions and shielded private transactions through Unified Addresses, which work with both types. The network is faster and cheaper than Bitcoin, with new blocks mined every 75 seconds and transaction fees typically just a fraction of a cent. Privacy adoption has surged in 2025, with over 30% of total ZEC supply now held in fully shielded pools.  Zcash was created by a group of scientists in 2013 who initially proposed Zerocoin as a privacy extension to Bitcoin before building a standalone protocol. The ecosystem operates with a self-funded development model where block rewards support independent teams through the Zcash Community Grants Committee and a new Coinholder-Controlled Fund.

However, despite appearing to crash by 90%, shares actually gained around 7%.This is due to a price adjustment reflecting the higher number of shares available in the market following the company’s first-ever stock split.What Is A Stock Split?On September 22, Tata Group’s holding and investment arm set October 14 as the record date for its 1:10 stock split, dividing one share of ₹10 face value into ten shares of ₹1 each. The company first approved the sub-division of shares on August 04.A stock split increases the number of shares while proportionally reducing the share price, keeping the total value of the investment unchanged.For example, 100 shares worth ₹1 lakh would become 1,000 shares after the split, but the overall investment value will remain the same.Who Are Eligible To Benefit From The Split?Only investors who held shares as of close on October 13 were eligible to receive the split shares. Tata Electronics has reportedly acquired the Indian arm of the Chinese firm Justech Precision for around $100 million. The deal was concluded in August with HSBC Bank and HDFC Bank acting as advisors, according to a report by CNBC.Tata has been pushing hard to become a key player in the iPhone manufacturing supply chain. The latest acquisition follows Tata Electronics’ purchase of a 60% stake in Pegatron’s India operations earlier this year, which included an iPhone assembly plant.Justech has been an Apple supplier since 2008, developing precision industrial equipment such as computer numerical control (CNC) machines for Foxconn, Apple’s largest assembler.
