There's no one who invests their own money who would look at BLS data,” he added.&nbsp;The Federal Reserve kept the benchmark interest unchanged at 3.5%-3.75% in its January meeting. The latest Federal Open Market Committee’s (FOMC) minutes released by the Fed earlier this week revealed that the central bank might hike the interest rates if inflation does not come down to its targeted range.&nbsp;“I think it is highly irresponsible to have artificially elevated interest rates at this time. Fairfax is expected to hold a majority economic stake immediately following completion.&nbsp;The deal is projected to close in the second quarter of 2026, pending customary conditions such as approval from a majority of the company’s voting shareholders, support from unaffiliated Kennedy Wilson equity holders, required regulatory clearances, and the expiration of applicable waiting periods.&nbsp;Under the merger agreement, Kennedy Wilson’s board may continue declaring up to two regular quarterly dividends of as much as $0.12 per share until shareholder approvals are secured. Once finalized, Kennedy Wilson’s common stock will stop trading on the New York Stock Exchange.Last November, Kennedy-Wilson acquired the apartment living platform of Toll Brothers in a transaction valued at $347 million. The deal includes Toll Brothers’ in-house development team along with interests in completed properties and projects under development. Kennedy Wilson expects to invest about $90 million, with the balance funded through third-party fee-bearing equity.The acquisition is set to add more than $5 billion in assets under management, including $2.2 billion across 18 apartment and student housing properties and $3 billion tied to 20 properties it will manage for Toll Brothers. (LRHC) rose more than 40% on Friday after the real estate firm announced the initial closing of an $11 million note under a previously disclosed $250 million private placement convertible note facility.Combined with its existing $1 billion equity purchase facility, this provides La Rosa with access to up to $1.25 billion in total financing capacity.On Friday, <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/LRHC">LRHC stock</a> saw its biggest intraday gain since July 3, 2025.<h2 class="st-heading-2">AI Data Center Pivot</h2>La Rosa said the funds will be used to build a strategic reserve to support long-term growth. It is expected to support the company’s shift toward developing next-generation data center infrastructure for artificial intelligence computing.
