The system still requires active driver supervision, though Tesla has voiced optimism for the technology solving vehicle autonomy in due time. According to the company’s last update in January, FSD has 1.1 million paid customers globally.The process for EU-wide approval will require majority assent from ‌a ⁠European Commission committee. Individual countries may, however, decide on their own account to allow the technology, Reuters noted.According to Van ⁠Nieuwenhoven, the Dutch version of FSD will have differences with the version approved in the U.S. due to ​the differing regulatory processes.In June 2025, Tesla CEO Elon Musk highlighted the demand for Tesla vehicles in the Netherlands and expressed optimism for FSD approval in the country, driving up sales significantly. Costco Announces 11% Jump In March Sales Despite Fewer Shopping Days

The drop in sales was primarily due to a 58% dip in wine and spirits sales driven by lower shipments, the company said.“U.S. consumers, particularly those within lower-income households, continued to face financial pressures from the cumulative effects of inflation, along with ongoing broader economic uncertainty and additional headwinds from other socioeconomic factors.
