The cryptocurrency then took off with the innovation of the turing-complete smart contract by Ethereum which led to the development of other amazing projects such as EOS, Tron, and even crypto-collectibles such as CryptoKitties.

(JPM) and Dutch firm BUX have joined hands to offer the largest U.S. bank’s actively managed custom multi-asset exchange-traded (ETF) fund portfolios to European customers, the two companies said on Monday.The portfolio offerings will be available under Bux’s Prime subscription, which costs 7.99 euros ($9.10) per month. Customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Austria, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy will be able to use it, as per the companies.“By partnering with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, we’re opening the doors to a level of expertise that was previously only available to high-net-worth individuals through wealth managers or private banks,” Bux CEO Yorick Naeff said. JPMorgan Teams Up With BUX To Offer Active ETFs To European Customers Amid Booming Demand

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) and Dutch firm BUX have joined hands to offer the largest U.S. bank’s actively managed custom multi-asset exchange-traded (ETF) fund portfolios to European customers, the two companies said on Monday.

Customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Austria, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy will be able to access the ETFs.

PayPal and Venmo, two of the most popular online payment platforms, have reported outages on Friday morning. Both companies are owned by the same parent company, PayPal Holdings (PYPL).<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/PYPL">PayPal’s stock</a> tumbled as much as 2% in morning trade amid broader market weakness after the company reported its latest earnings results after the bell on Thursday. Retail sentiment on Stocktwits edged lower but remained in ‘extremely bullish’ territory.&nbsp;The outage started at around 8:45 a.m. ET, and reports on Down Detector quickly&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.paypal-status.com/product/production">jumped</a> to around 1,000. PayPal’s official page also&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.paypal-status.com/product/production">reported</a> “service disruption.” However, the company has not officially commented on the downtime.For Venmo, data showed that 77% of users reported payment issues, followed by 17% reporting problems in transferring funds, and 6% being unable to log in. However, for PayPal, the issues seemed to be more wide-ranging. Most users reported problems with the app and payments, and the remaining 27% had login issues.&nbsp;The official website showed “service disruption” for online checkout, retail checkout, reporting, and Braintree. “We are still observing impact to Retail Checkout, Online Checkout and Braintree in our production Environment,” the website said. “Our Technical teams are actively investigating and working to mitigate the impact as quickly as possible. PayPal, Venmo Down For Users Friday Morning

Visa (V) stock slipped 2.1% in premarket trading on Wednesday, despite the company beating its profit forecast, as it did not update its fiscal year profit forecast.The company said that it continues to expect earnings per share to increase by a percentage in the low teens and revenue to rise by low double-digit percentage points.The outlook came despite the company handily topping Wall Street’s estimates for profit and revenue. It reported adjusted earnings of $2.98 per share for the fiscal third quarter, while analysts expected it to post $2.85 per share, according to Fiscal.ai data. It also saw “no meaningful” impact from tariffs.Visa, the top payments processor, reported that its cross-border volumes increased by 12% and the number of processed transactions rose by 10%. Earlier this month, American Express had also topped profit estimates on robust consumer spending.According to a Bloomberg News report, Mizuho Securities analyst Dan Dolev stated that the company’s failure to raise its full-year outlook is likely the reason behind the decline in share prices.During the conference call with analysts, Visa executives said the company sees a “lot of opportunity” regarding stablecoins, specifically in remittances.“For example, sending money from a Visa card to a bank account in an emerging market, we're reliant on local banking infrastructure. So in these types of use cases, stablecoins could enable us to have faster cross-border transactions,” CEO Ryan McInerney said.Last month, investors were spooked after a landmark <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/cryptocurrency/genius-act-ignites-stablecoin-summer/choeu1eR5x9">stablecoin legislation</a> advanced in Congress. Digital tokens, typically linked one-to-one with the dollar, enable consumers to pay merchants directly from their cryptocurrency wallets. This method bypasses traditional banking and card networks, raising concerns about Visa and its peers.
