XLP Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund

$XLP still more to go but when cycles like this rotate the larger funds/RIAs etc aren't positiining daily - takes time to get in new sectors so we should get a rally on tech names end of day and into Monday but this is not a buy the dip and hold move (yet) on $NVDA $MU $AMD etc just a bounce trade ----- Talked about this rotation pre market today in the DNF chat room -- XLP being a big clue for rotation off lows on $SPY etc....

$XLP 8 gaps below now and I would think one of the best periods in its history the last month or so, had to go down to just 16% of my normal position size as it hit those new highs at $90 & change. Must adjust to the current field position. Very grateful for the amazing run. I prefer to keep less positions in the account ongoing, maybe would have been good to just sell it all though I like owning it and adding on weak days as a way to hedge. Money seems to rush into this area anytime the markets have difficulty. Buy some when nobody wants it and sell some when everyone wants it.

This is wall st defense strategy to spike $XLP and JPM is peddling a message to go long the SPX. I am going Jan $VIX calls for a discount. I did that months ago and closed them for profit into the dip. I bet I can do the same.

$XLP toppy after 13+ % in exactly four weeks --- have algos switched the program again? We'll find out soon, I guess. -- One thing I thought about: Just because big money is also done with staples and utes, doesn't mean it's flowing back into semis + tech. It can also just mean: After pushing everything to new highs, money is overall done with the stock market.
