The recent rise in checked bag fees is the latest indication that airlines are passing higher fuel costs onto American travelers. ADMA Stock Downgraded By Cantor As ‘Channel Stuffing’ Claims Shake Investor Confidence

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Oppenheimer analyst Kostas Biliouris, meanwhile, said Sarepta's data in the programs "appear promising."</li><li>The firm now awaits additional data in the second half of 2026 to better assess Sarepta's programs.</li></ul><p>Shares of Sarepta Therapeutics (SRPT) closed 35% higher on Wednesday despite Wall Street raising concerns on the company’s early clinical results for two of its programs in neuromuscular diseases.</p><p>Leerink analyst Joseph Schwartz said the initial data released by the company earlier on Wednesday in genetic diseases myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1) and facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy type 1 (FSHD1) are "a bit of a mixed bag." While it seems like they can achieve "impressive" muscle concentration, the DM1 data are "very limited and safety remains an open debate," said the analyst, who has a ‘Market Perform’ rating on Sarepta shares.</p><p>Oppenheimer analyst Kostas Biliouris, meanwhile, said Sarepta's data in the programs "appear promising." However, the early nature of data and use of different sample sizes across measurements may bias the results, preventing conclusion, the analyst told investors in a research note. The firm awaits additional data in the second half of 2026 to better assess Sarepta's programs. The firm has an ‘Outperform’ rating on Sarepta with a $37 price target.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Sarepta’s Trial Data</h2><p>Sarepta said earlier in the day that early results from the studies of its investigational siRNA treatment SRP-1001 in FSHD1 and DM1 demonstrated dose- dependent muscle exposure, early biomarker effects, and favorable tolerability, which the company expects will lead to better clinical efficacy.</p><p>Both DM1 and FSDH1 are genetic disorders caused by overexpression of mutant proteins or toxic mRNA and characterized by progressive muscle weakness. SRPT Stock Clocks Highest Daily Gain In Nearly 8 Years After Rare Muscle Disorders Study Data But Wall Street's Not Wholly Convinced

DigitalOcean is in advanced discussions to secure this additional data center capacity to support its growth, it said.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">What Is DigitalOcean</h2><p>DigitalOcean is the agentic inference cloud built for AI-native and digital-native enterprises scaling production workloads. However, the adequacy of the data to support conversion to traditional approval will be a matter of review, the company said.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Analyst Takeaway</h2><p>Oppenheimer analyst Andreas Argyrides sees the sNDA filing as positive as it removes the risk of Amondys/Vyondys being pulled from the market for the next year. The analyst added that it also signals positive FDA feedback during a meeting, pointing to potential sNDA approval.</p><p>The firm reiterated an ‘Outperform’ rating on Sarepta with a price target of $37 on the shares.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">About Vyondys And Amondys</h2><p>Vyondys 53 and Amondys 45 are both FDA-approved, weekly intravenous antisense oligonucleotide therapies from Sarepta for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a severe, progressive genetic disorder primarily affecting young boys, characterized by muscle degeneration. Both therapies now have an accelerated approval.</p><p>While Accelerated Approval (AA) allows faster market access for drugs treating serious conditions, based on surrogate endpoints that likely predict clinical benefit, Traditional Approval requires direct evidence of clinical benefit. Accelerated approval requires post-marketing confirmatory trials to prove clinical efficacy to prevent the approval from being withdrawn.</p><p>With additional data from its confirmatory late-stage trial, Sarepta is now seeking to shift the approval type to traditional for the two DMD therapies.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Sarepta’s Update For Elevidys</h2><p>Earlier this week, Sarepta also <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/sarepta-shares-rise-as-company-begins-enrollment-in-gene-therapy-safety-enhancement-study/cZ3PezERIQd">said</a> that screening and enrollment are underway in a cohort of its study aimed at developing an enhanced safety protocol for its gene therapy, Elevidys, in non-ambulant individuals with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.</p><p>FDA-approved Elevidys came under scrutiny last year over concerns of acute liver failure and associated patient deaths. (SRPT) edged up nearly 1.5% on Monday after the company said that screening and enrollment are underway in a cohort of its study, aimed at developing an enhanced safety protocol for its gene therapy, Elevidys, in non-ambulant individuals with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.</p><p>Data from the cohort is aimed at determining whether administering sirolimus prior to and after Elevidys infusion can help reduce risks of acute liver injury and acute liver failure associated with Elevidys in DMD patients who cannot walk.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Gene Therapy Study Details</h2><p>Sarepta is <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://investorrelations.sarepta.com/news-releases/news-release-details/sarepta-announces-screening-and-enrollment-are-underway-endeavor">looking</a> to enroll about 25 Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients who are non-ambulatory in the cohort.</p><p>Patients enrolled in the cohort will be administered peri-infusion sirolimus 14 days before Elevidys administration and will continue to receive it for 12 weeks after Elevidys, the company said.</p><p>Elevidys is the only approved gene therapy for Duchenne, a severe, progressive genetic muscle-wasting disease, primarily affecting young boys.</p><p>Elevidys came under scrutiny last year over concerns of acute liver failure and associated patient deaths. The offer price represents a premium of about 31% from the stock’s closing price on Tuesday.</p><p>It is possible that the talks might not culminate in a deal, the report added.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Competing Bids</h2><p>Fertitta’s bid reportedly tops a rival offer from investor Carl Icahn’s firm for Caesars. Icahn Enterprises (IEP) had made an all-cash offer of about $33 per share for Caesars, the report said, while adding that Icahn’s offer has not been officially rejected by Caesars.</p><p>Late last month, the Financial Times <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/caesars-entertainment-stock-closes-up-19-percent-on-takeover-buzz/cZTGp5zRIRX">reported</a> that Caesars is also considering a possible management-led buyout. Shares of the company closed up 19% on the day.</p><p>Eldorado Resorts completed its acquisition of Caesars Entertainment Corporation in 2020 for approximately $17.3 billion, creating the largest U.S. casino operator. CZR Stock Climbs On Report Of Buyout Talks With Billionaire Tilman Fertitta

This represents a 44% premium from the stock’s closing price on Tuesday.</p><p>Papa John’s is now reviewing the bid but there is no guarantee that the bid will result in an agreement, the report said, while also highlighting the possibility of another suitor emerging.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Second Attempt</h2><p>For Irth, it is its second attempt at acquiring Papa Johns after it made a bid last year alongside private-equity firm Apollo Global Management, sources told the Journal.</p><p>Irth is an existing shareholder in Papa Johns and has increased its effective stake to about 10%, the report added. A deal for Papa Johns would be one of Irth’s first major moves, the report noted.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Papa John’s FY25</h2><p>For fiscal year 2025, Papa John’s reported total revenue of $2.1 billion, flat compared to the prior year, and adjusted diluted earnings per common share of $1.43, down from $2.34 in the prior year as it battles rising competition.</p><p>In February, the company committed to sharpening its marketing message in light of the competitive dynamics in its business.
