Shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. (AMC), Hub Cyber Security Ltd. (HUBC), and Fluence Energy Inc. (FLNC) surged, ending as major winners across U.S. markets on Monday amid a mix of improving business fundamentals, AI infrastructure optimism, and institutional activity.
AMC stock soared more than 22% after it revealed strong footfall in May. Meanwhile, FLNC stock rallied more than 43% after the company landed a key role in Nvidia’s latest AI data center initiative. HUBC shares nearly doubled in a single day amid significant shareholder activity.
AMC Entertainment shares posted their steepest climb in more than a year after the theater chain reported its highest domestic and global attendance in May since 2019.
The company said that it had welcomed 25.5 million guests across AMC Theatres and ODEON Cinemas locations during the month and recorded more than 4.2 million moviegoers during the Memorial Day holiday period.
CEO Adam Aron attributed the strong turnout to a healthy film slate that combined blockbuster franchises with successful new releases. Aron also expressed confidence for the rest of 2026, citing upcoming releases including Toy Story 5, Supergirl, and Minions & Monsters.
The attendance milestone adds to signs of a broader recovery for AMC. The company has also made progress in reducing financial pressure through debt refinancings, debt-for-equity exchanges, and maturity extensions, helping to improve flexibility as box-office trends continue to recover.
On Stocktwits, retail sentiment around AMC stock improved from ‘bullish’ to ‘extremely bullish’ territory and message volumes jumped to ‘high’ from ‘normal’ levels. The company’s shares have gained 31.68% so far in 2026.
Shares of Fluence Energy recorded their strongest trading day on record ever after the company was named the exclusive energy storage partner in a new AI factory reference architecture developed by Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) and Siemens for data centers powered by Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform.
Under the partnership, Fluence will provide its SmartStack battery energy storage system to support backup power, grid services, demand response, and load-smoothing capabilities for AI-focused data centers.
“Our Smartstack platform is central to this new architecture, transforming the grid into an accelerator for compute,” CEO Jeff Monday said.
While the agreement does not include immediate revenue commitments, investors viewed the announcement as positioning Fluence to benefit from accelerating investment in AI infrastructure and power-hungry data centers.
Canaccord Genuity reiterated its ‘Buy’ rating on the stock and maintained a $28 price target following the announcement, while retail interest exploded, with message volumes surging more than 30,300% over the past 24 hours on Stocktwits. Sentiment jumped from ‘bearish’ to ‘extremely bullish’ territory.
FLNC stock has surged more than 511% in the past 12 months.
