Insurance premium collections rise in August, led by Bajaj Allianz and New India Assurance
ICICI Lombard General Insurance posted a 2.1% year-on-year rise in gross direct premium underwritten to ₹2,182 crore, while New India Assurance reported an 8.7% increase to ₹2,197 crore.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance posted a 2.1% year-on-year rise in gross direct premium underwritten to ₹2,182 crore, while New India Assurance reported an 8.7% increase to ₹2,197 crore.
Star Health and Allied Insurance’s premium rose 1.9% to ₹1,426 crore, while Go Digit General Insurance recorded a 13.6% jump to ₹738 crore.
Bajaj Allianz Life reported the strongest growth among peers, with premium collections up 18.8% year-on-year at ₹2,036 crore.
