Mahindra & Mahindra September sales rise 14% to 97,744 units; exports jump 44%

Mahindra & Mahindra September sales rise 14% to 97,744 units; exports jump 44% Published Oct 09, 2025 | 12:18 PM GMT-04 Automaker Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) on Thursday (October 9) reported a 14% year-on-year growth in total sales volume for September 2025, reaching 97,744 units.
The company’s export performance showed a strong rise, with total exports up 44% year-on-year to 4,458 units during the month. On the production front, Mahindra & Mahindra recorded a 24.4% year-on-year increase, producing 99,758 units in September 2025.
First Quarter Results
Mahindra & Mahindra's consolidated net profit rose 24.4% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹4,083 crore, compared to ₹3,283 crore in the same period last year. M&M’s consolidated revenue increased 22.8% to ₹45,436 crore from ₹37,010 crore.

On a standalone basis, M&M posted a 32% jump in net profit to ₹3,450 crore, beating analyst estimates of ₹3,174 crore. Standalone revenue rose 26% to ₹34,083 crore, slightly higher than expectations. However, standalone EBITDA was ₹4,736 crore, below the poll of ₹4,929 crore, with the margin contracting to 13.9% from 14.9% a year earlier.
The company maintained strong leadership across key segments: SUVs (27.3% revenue market share, up 570 basis points), light commercial vehicles under 3.5 tons (54.2% market share, up 340 basis points), tractors (45.2%, highest ever quarterly share), and electric three-wheelers (38.7%).
The auto segment saw a 17% rise in volumes to 247,000 units, with consolidated revenue up 31% to ₹25,999 crore and PAT up 32% to ₹1,760 crore. The farm segment reported a 10% increase in volumes to 133,000 units, revenue growth of 12% to ₹10,892 crore, and a 7% PAT increase to ₹1,323 crore.
