For instance, if Joe wanted to send USD to Mary using her EUR, an offer is submitted to the distributed exchange selling USD for EUR. This submitted offer forms is known as an order book. The network will use the order book to find the best exchange rate for the transaction in-order to minimize the fee paid by a user.  This multi-currency transaction is possible because of "Anchors". Anchors are trusted entities that hold people’s deposits and can issue credit. In essence, Anchors serves as the bridge between different currencies and the Stellar network.  Lumens (XLM) Lumens are the native asset (digital currency) that exist on the Stellar network that helps to facilitate multi-currency transactions and prevent spams. For multi-currency transactions, XLM is the digital intermediary that allows for such a transaction to occur at a low cost.  In-order to prevent DoS attacks (aka spams) that would inevitably occur on the Stellar network, a small fee of 0.00001 XLM is associated with every transaction that occurs on the network. This fee is small enough so it does not significantly affect the cost of transaction, but large enough so it dissuades bad actors from spamming the network.   Prior to Protocol 12, Stellar had a built-in inflation mechanism conceived to allow account holders to collectively direct inflation-generated lumens toward projects built on Stellar.  As the network evolved and grew, it became increasingly clear that inflation wasn’t working as intended — account holders either didn’t set their inflation destination or joined inflation pools to claim the inflation themselves, and the operational costs associated with inflation payments continued to rise — and so a protocol change to disable inflation was proposed, implemented, voted on by validators, and ultimately adopted as part of a network upgrade. (ZS) stock climbed over 5% in Thursday’s extended session after the cybersecurity vendor announced a quarterly beat and raised its full-year guidance yet again.&nbsp;The San Jose, California-based company reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.84 and revenue of $678 million for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025.&nbsp;The results exceeded the consensus estimates and guidance issued in early March.The year-over-year (YoY) revenue growth was 23%, the same as in the previous quarter.Chairman and CEO Jay Chaudhry said, “We delivered outstanding Q3 results as an increasing number of customers adopt our expanding Zero Trust Exchange platform. We enable customers to realize Zero Trust Everywhere while lowering operational cost and complexity.”He also noted that the artificial intelligence (AI) technology’s proliferation has increased the need for AI security.&nbsp;Zscaler guided fourth-quarter adjusted EPS to $0.79-$0.80 and revenue to $705 million-$707 million. Investing.com -- In a note to clients this week, BCA Research assessed whether now is an opportune time to build or top up a position in cybersecurity stocks. 

Research firm Stephens initiated coverage of cybersecurity vendors in a note released late Monday even as their shares stutter amid the broader market downturn.The brokerage initiated shares of&nbsp; Zscaler, Inc. (ZS), CyberArk Software, Inc. (CYBR) and SentinelOne, Inc. (S) with 'Overweight' ratings, The Fly reported. The firm's price targets for the shares are as follows:<ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li>Zscaler - $255 (33% upside potential)</li><li>CyberArk - $440 (30% upside potential)</li><li>SentinelOne - $25 (38% upside potential)</li></ul>&nbsp;Stephens' positive view on Zscaler is premised on its view that the company is the "pioneer and market leader" in delivering network security as a cloud-based service. The firm's analysts believe that Zscaler is well-positioned to be one of the at-the-scale companies that can grow its top line by about 20%.On CyberkArk, Stephens said the company is one of the leaders in driving the move toward converged identity security platforms. The firm believes identity security will be one of the most attractive secular growth areas in security.According to Stephens, SentinelOne has established a strong position in the next-generation endpoint market.
