Adobe once attempted to buy Figma for about $20 billion, but then called off the deal due to antitrust concerns. According to the BCG Matrix, Adobe has an estimated 58%&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://matrixbcg.com/blogs/competitors/adobe">share</a> in the creative software industry.But rivals are catching up. Morgan Stanley analyst Elizabeth Porter sees Figma as the “industry standard” in product design software. The analyst highlighted the company’s real-time collaboration platform as its competitive advantage, helping to accelerate the process of turning ideas into digital products.Consolidating workflows and expanding beyond UX designers to developers, marketers, and product managers provides a long runway to increase penetration from 4% currently, in an estimated total addressable market (TAM) of about $26 billion, the analyst said.Still privately held, Canva, though a smaller rival, is seen as a serious emerging threat to Adobe. The company, widely rumored to go public in 2026, relaunched its Affinity creative suite, comprising Photo, Designer, Publisher, as one all-in-one Affinity app that is free for everyone. Bozeman, Montana-based Snowflake is a cloud-based AI-powered data storage company.Encouraged by the positive checks, analysts at the firm see the company having a strong second half of 2025. They also expect the company to benefit from growing AI adoption and conservative guidance.&nbsp;Snowflake is a top pick at Jefferies. As such, the firm raised its price target for the Snowflake stock to $300 from $270. The updated price target implies 28% upside from the current beaten-down levels.&nbsp;Snowflake has been quick to announce enterprise partnerships recently. The company announced a new integration with Nvidia to accelerate machine learning (ML) workflows directly within its platform, as well as a collaboration with SAP to enable organizations to seamlessly leverage Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud and SAP Business Data Cloud.&nbsp;It also unveiled Snowflake Intelligence, an enterprise-grade intelligence agent, and new developer tools to support agentic AI development.<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Retail Feels About Snowflake</h2>On Stocktwits, retail sentiment toward Snowflake remained ‘bearish’ as of late Sunday, while the message volume was at ‘normal’ levels. Snowflake Analysts Predict Strong H2: Is The Stock A Buy At Current Levels?

(WDAY)&nbsp;surged 5.12% to $230.22 in Tuesday's after-hours trading,&nbsp;following a stake buildup by an activist investor in the AI-driven human resources software developer.Elliott Investment Management said in a press&nbsp;release that it had built up a stake worth more than $2 billion in Workday,&nbsp;making it the fourth-largest institutional investor in the company.&nbsp;Vanguard Group, which holds about $5 billion worth of Workday shares, is currently its largest institutional investor, according to Koyfin.Elliott acknowledged the efforts of CEO Carl Eschenbach, CFO Zane Rowe, and the entire Workday team for making "substantial progress" in recent years.The activist investor also said it is pleased with its dialogue with Workday's management team. It lauded the company for the multi-year plan announced at the Financial Analyst Day held on Tuesday. This plan would drive substantial long-term value creation for the company's shareholders, it added. "We look forward to continued collaboration with the company."In a response statement, Workday said, "We appreciate Elliott's support," but did not elaborate further.Workday stock has fallen about 15% this year, underperforming the broader market, the tech sector, and the software industry.
