Vitalik Buterin proposed Ethereum in 2013, but seven co-founders helped build it, including Gavin Wood who created Solidity and the EVM technical specification, and Joseph Lubin who founded ConsenSys. The project launched in July 2015 after raising over $18 million through crowdfunding, quickly becoming the largest blockchain developer community. Major milestones include the 2020 Beacon Chain launch, the 2021 London hard fork implementing fee burning, and the 2022 Merge to Proof of Stake. PVH Corp (PVH) shares surged 16.2% in after-hours trading on Monday, after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and provided an upbeat forecast, even as retail investors took a bearish view."In a challenging macro, we delivered another year of strong profitability in North America, drove sequential improvements in our wholesale order books in Europe while improving our quality of sales, and we achieved our third consecutive year of growth in Asia Pacific, on a constant currency basis," CEO Stefan Larsson said in a statement.The company, which owns brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, said revenue fell 4.8% to $2.37 billion. Revenue stood at $1.29 billion, also below the estimated revenues of $1.3 billion, according to Stocktwits data.&nbsp; The apparel company's net revenue declined by 1%, attributed to the roughly $45 million of adverse impact it had due to a retail calendar shift.&nbsp; Comparable sales increased 3% in the third quarter. Fourth-quarter comparable sales are expected to be up by 1%, the company said, adding that revenues are expected to decline 4%.&nbsp; The decline will reflect the $85 million impact from the combination of the retail calendar shift and one less selling week, the company has said.
