We previously set a yearly sales floor for ELEVIDYS of $500.0 million. We reconfirm that floor and our intentions to exceed it,” Ingram said on Monday.The company further added that it had $953.8 million in preliminary cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash and investments as of 2025-end. The company will announce its full financial results in late February.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Elevidys Safety Concerns And Other Setbacks</h2>The preliminary numbers come in light of a challenging year for the company. Elevidys, a medicine intended for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), created safety concerns following the death of two patients after treatment. Both non-ambulatory patients suffered from acute liver failure. DMD is a severe, inherited genetic disorder that causes progressive muscle weakness and degeneration.While Sarepta resumed shipments to DMD patients who can walk after a temporary pause, it is now developing a risk-mitigation approach for patients who cannot walk to resume shipments in the particular patient segment.In November, the company also announced that its two approved therapies Amondys 45 and Vyondys 53 in DMD failed in a key confirmatory trial aimed at a traditional full approval for the two. This would result in $158.6 million in aggregate principal amount of the existing notes to remain outstanding under the previous terms, the company said.&nbsp;The transaction would also entail the sale by the private parties of approximately 691,000 shares of the company’s common stock,&nbsp;which could affect the market price of the company’s shares and notes, the firm noted. Since the deal is private, none of the new notes and shares issuable upon conversion are registered for public sale.Most recently,&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/SRPT/">SRPT</a> issued an equity grant of about $12 million to Douglas S. Ingram, its chief executive officer. DMD is a severe, inherited genetic disorder that causes progressive muscle weakness and degeneration.While Sarepta resumed shipments to DMD patients who can walk after a temporary pause earlier this year, it is now developing a risk-mitigation approach for patients who cannot walk to resume shipments in this particular patient segment.However, a Citi analyst said in August that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration may determine that additional steps beyond Siromilus are recommended or required for non-ambulatory Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients on Elevidys. Sarepta Wins FDA Approval To Begin Study On Reducing Liver Injury Risk With Elevidys

Blackstone, however, will not receive any right to the drug.Sac-TMT was developed by Sichuan Kelun Pharmaceutical Co. The company granted Merck the exclusive rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize sac-TMT in all territories outside of Greater China, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, under a deal.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Merck Assumes Responsibility For MK-8690</h2>Separately, Merck <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.merck.com/news/merck-signs-agreement-with-dr-falk-pharma-gmbh-for-certain-development-and-commercialization-rights-to-mk-8690-pra-052-an-investigational-anti-cd30-ligand-monoclonal-antibody/">announced</a> on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement through a unit with Germany’s Dr. Falk Pharma GmbH to discontinue a contract signed in 2020 concerning co-development and co-commercialization rights in certain territories for MK-8690, an investigational drug targeting inflammatory bowel diseases. Merck has now assumed full responsibility for the development program.Dr. Falk will receive $150 million upfront as part of the deal termination and will continue to be eligible to receive payments associated with development milestones, as well as royalties on sales in certain territories.Merck said that it will record a pre-tax charge to research and development expenses of $150 million, or Merck Stock Rises Upon Receipt Of $700M In Funding For Experimental Cancer Drug

The deal will fund a portion of the development costs for Sacituzumab Tirumotecan, also known as Sac-TMT.

(TMO) said on Wednesday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire data solutions provider Clario Holdings for $8.875 billion in cash at close in a bid to accelerate its data capabilities and advance clinical research.In addition to the upfront payment, Thermo Fisher has <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://newsroom.thermofisher.com/newsroom/press-releases/press-release-details/2025/Thermo-Fisher-Scientific-to-Acquire-Clario-Holdings-Inc--Enabling-Pharma-and-Biotech-Customers-to-Accelerate-Innovation-with-Deeper-Clinical-Insights/default.aspx">agreed</a> to $125 million in January 2027 and up to $400 million in earn-out payments based on the performance of the business in 2026 and 2027, bringing the total deal value to $9.4 billion.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Transaction Impact</h2>The transaction is expected to be completed by the middle of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and approvals from regulators. Upon closing of the deal, Clario will become part of Thermo Fisher’s Laboratory Products and Biopharma Services segment.Thermo Fisher expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to its adjusted operating margin. It also expects the deal to add $0.45 of adjusted earnings per share in the first year after closing.For the full year 2025, Clario is expected to generate approximately $1.25 billion of revenue. Thermo Fisher added that Clario's business is expected to grow in the high single-digits under its ownership.Clario’s clinical trial endpoint data can support faster, more confident trial decisions, Thermo Fisher noted. Thermo Fisher Adds Clario Holdings In A $9.4B Deal – Its Third Acquisition In 2025

Thermo Fisher expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to its adjusted operating margin.

Shares of Humana (HUM) rose 3% on Thursday afternoon after the company affirmed its full-year earnings per share guidance provided in July.The insurer stated that it expects adjusted earnings per common share of $17 for the year ending Dec. 31, 2025, and diluted earnings per share of $13.77.The firm also stated that its preliminary 2026 Medicare Advantage (MA) Star Ratings align with the assumptions in its financial planning. As a result, there is no change to the incremental earnings potential for 2025 to 2028. The ratings data provided by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services was inadvertently accessible on CMS Plan Finder for a brief period on Oct. 1, 2025, the company stated.CMS assigns a star rating to Medicare Advantage plans, ranging from one to five, with five being the highest rating.
