Hillenbrand (HI) announced on Wednesday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an affiliate of Lone Star Funds in an all-cash transaction valuing the company at $3.8 billion.Shares of Hillenbrand jumped nearly 19% in premarket trading after the company said it would be bought for $32.00 per share, which represents a premium of approximately 37% over Hillenbrand's unaffected closing share price of $23.43 on August 12.
