(RMBS) shares fell sharply in Monday’s extended session despite the chip interface technologies company announcing a third-quarter revenue beat, underpinned by record product revenue. The company forecast sequentially lower licensing billings, but retail traders aren’t ready to throw in the towel yet.The stock, which has traded in a 52-week range of $40.12 to $114.55, shed nearly 20% in the extended session. It, however, settled Monday’s regular session up 7.77% at its highest level since its dot.com peak in 2000. If the after-hours stock drop is carried over into Tuesday’s regular session, the stock is on track for its worst day in a decade.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Rambus’ Q3 Earnings Snapshot</h2>San Jose, California-based Rambus reported earnings per share (EPS) of $0.44 for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025, down slightly from $0.45 a year ago. Revenue climbed 22.7% Year-over-Year (YoY) to $178.5 million, exceeding the Fiscal.ai-compiled consensus of $175.67 million. Product revenue (about 53% of the&nbsp;total) jumped 41%. The company noted that the provision for income taxes was significantly higher&nbsp;than a year ago, driven by&nbsp;recent changes in tax legislation.CEO Luc Seraphin said, “Rambus delivered a very strong third quarter, with record product revenue and excellent cash from operations, while continuing to execute on our strategic roadmap.”<h2 class="st-heading-2">Rambus’ Forward Outlook</h2>Seraphin said he expects Rambus’ sustained DDR5 product leadership and ramping contributions from new products will likely help the full-year product revenue growth to outpace the market.For the fourth quarter, the company guided to licensing billings of $60 million to $66 million compared to the third quarter’s $66.1 million. The meteoric rally in Wolfspeed's stock on Monday may have further legs as it climbed over 50% in the early premarket session on Tuesday.&nbsp;The substantial premarket gains came after the wide-bandgap semiconductor manufacturer, which focuses on silicon carbide and gallium nitride, confirmed via a press statement late Monday that it had completed its financial restructuring and emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.The Durham, North Carolina-based company stated that it has reduced its total debt by approximately 70% and extended debt maturities to 2030, while also lowering annual interest expenses by about 60%. Retail investors turned bullish on PVH Corp after the company behind Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein fashion brands reported strong quarterly results and projected a return to revenue growth this year.On Stocktwits, the retail sentiment for PVH shifted to 'extremely bullish' (87/100) from 'neutral' the previous day, and message volume rose 900% in the past 24 hours. Calvin Klein Parent PVH Boosts Retail Trader Confidence As Stock Jumps On Return-To-Growth Forecast

Under&nbsp;Armour (UAA) forecast a weak quarter due to tariff pressures on Friday,&nbsp;causing its shares to&nbsp;plummet 18%&nbsp;and bringing them within touching distance of an all-time low. Still,&nbsp;some&nbsp;retail investors and analysts feel it is too early to&nbsp;dismiss a potential&nbsp;rebound.Under&nbsp;Armour's merchandise has been losing appeal in recent years, due to increased competition and partly because its products are seen as being a notch more expensive than rivals, for instance, like Nike (NKE).&nbsp;Last year, the sportswear brand brought back its founder, Kevin Plank,&nbsp;as CEO and announced a major restructuring plan that includes narrowing its product selection&nbsp;to focus on premium products and men's&nbsp;offerings.The stock has "bottomed out at all-time low levels," according to research firm&nbsp;Stifel. However, the market is discounting the company's ability to ever return to profitable growth, which is an overly bearish view, it said.Stifel sees Under Armour's brand value and global reach supporting an eventual turnaround.Truist stated that while the bar for FY26 is "materially lower," it awaits further signs that turnaround initiatives and significant brand investments are helping to drive demand.As for retail investors, they are bargain hunting this season. The company also said it anticipates&nbsp;this year's&nbsp;profitability to be half of what it was&nbsp;in 2024."None of this is ideal. We don't like this, but also it won't define our year," Plank said on the post-earnings call. "We've faced bigger headwinds before, and this is simply the next one we'll get through."Plank has touted a vision of&nbsp;transforming Under Armour into a premium brand, reducing the number of products it sells, and eliminating discounts.The sportswear brand forecast second-quarter revenue to fall between 6% and 7%, which would mark its 10th straight quarter of declines. Analysts were expecting a 3% drop. Profit is expected to be $0.02 per share, on an adjusted basis, way below analysts'&nbsp;average expectation of $0.26.In the first quarter, the company earned $0.02 per share, on an adjusted basis, and reported over $1.13 billion&nbsp;in revenue, both of which were in line with estimates.Revenue in North America slid 5%, while international revenue declined 1%.
