Since relisting on Sept. 29, Wolfspeed stock has gained nearly 45%.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Wolfspeed’s Q1 Snapshot</h2>The wide-bandgap semiconductor manufacturer, which focuses on silicon carbide and gallium nitride technology, reported an adjusted loss per share of $0.55 for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2026, narrower than the year-ago loss of $0.91 per share. According to Stocktwits, analysts, on average, expected a loss of $0.71 per share for the quarter.Revenue rose merely 1% year over year (YoY) to $197 million, trailing the $198-million consensus. (RMBS) shares fell sharply in Monday’s extended session despite the chip interface technologies company announcing a third-quarter revenue beat, underpinned by record product revenue. The company forecast sequentially lower licensing billings, but retail traders aren’t ready to throw in the towel yet.The stock, which has traded in a 52-week range of $40.12 to $114.55, shed nearly 20% in the extended session. It, however, settled Monday’s regular session up 7.77% at its highest level since its dot.com peak in 2000. If the after-hours stock drop is carried over into Tuesday’s regular session, the stock is on track for its worst day in a decade.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Rambus’ Q3 Earnings Snapshot</h2>San Jose, California-based Rambus reported earnings per share (EPS) of $0.44 for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025, down slightly from $0.45 a year ago. Revenue climbed 22.7% Year-over-Year (YoY) to $178.5 million, exceeding the Fiscal.ai-compiled consensus of $175.67 million. Product revenue (about 53% of the&nbsp;total) jumped 41%. The meteoric rally in Wolfspeed's stock on Monday may have further legs as it climbed over 50% in the early premarket session on Tuesday.&nbsp;The substantial premarket gains came after the wide-bandgap semiconductor manufacturer, which focuses on silicon carbide and gallium nitride, confirmed via a press statement late Monday that it had completed its financial restructuring and emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.The Durham, North Carolina-based company stated that it has reduced its total debt by approximately 70% and extended debt maturities to 2030, while also lowering annual interest expenses by about 60%. Why Wolfspeed Stock Is Surging Over 50% Premarket Today

EchoStar shares&nbsp;rose nearly 9% in Monday’s extended session as traders reacted to a report of the potential sale of wireless spectrum to telecom giant Verizon Communications, Inc. (VZ).After settling Monday’s regular session up 0.27% at $73.65,&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/SATS">EcoStar stock</a> climbed 8.49% after-hours, while&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/VZ">Verizon’s stock</a> edged up merely 0.09% in the extended session.A Bloomberg&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-09-29/verizon-is-in-talks-to-purchase-echostar-wireless-spectrum">report</a>, citing people familiar with the matter, stated that Verizon was in talks with EchoStar, a satellite TV and wireless services provider, to purchase&nbsp;its AWS-3 licenses, which are crucial for carrying 5G wireless signals.&nbsp;EchoStar had already sold some of the airwaves to Verizon’s peer AT&amp;T (T) and Elon Musk’s SpaceX, in a bid to resolve a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) probe over whether it has met its 5G buildout obligations and spectrum use.Citing regulatory filings by EchoStar, the report said the AWS-3 spectrum has a carrying amount of $9.8 billion. The company has sold wireless spectrum to AT&amp;T and SpaceX at prices well over the carrying value, it added. While AT&amp;T paid $23 billion in cash for EchoStar’s low- and mid-band spectrum licenses, SpaceX expended $17 billion.EchoStar, which acquired a significant chunk of wireless spectrum with the intention of becoming a fourth major carrier in the U.S., has now toned down its ambitions.
