(WOLF) fell 17.40% in Thursday’s early premarket session as traders reacted to the semiconductor company’s&nbsp;mixed&nbsp;quarterly results and&nbsp;weak revenue&nbsp;guidance.&nbsp;The Durham, North Carolina-based company recently emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy following the completion of financial restructuring. Since relisting on Sept. 29, Wolfspeed stock has gained nearly 45%.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Wolfspeed’s Q1 Snapshot</h2>The wide-bandgap semiconductor manufacturer, which focuses on silicon carbide and gallium nitride technology, reported an adjusted loss per share of $0.55 for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2026, narrower than the year-ago loss of $0.91 per share. According to Stocktwits, analysts, on average, expected a loss of $0.71 per share for the quarter.Revenue rose merely 1% year over year (YoY) to $197 million, trailing the $198-million consensus. The company forecast sequentially lower licensing billings, but retail traders aren’t ready to throw in the towel yet.The stock, which has traded in a 52-week range of $40.12 to $114.55, shed nearly 20% in the extended session. It, however, settled Monday’s regular session up 7.77% at its highest level since its dot.com peak in 2000. If the after-hours stock drop is carried over into Tuesday’s regular session, the stock is on track for its worst day in a decade.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Rambus’ Q3 Earnings Snapshot</h2>San Jose, California-based Rambus reported earnings per share (EPS) of $0.44 for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025, down slightly from $0.45 a year ago. The meteoric rally in Wolfspeed's stock on Monday may have further legs as it climbed over 50% in the early premarket session on Tuesday.&nbsp;The substantial premarket gains came after the wide-bandgap semiconductor manufacturer, which focuses on silicon carbide and gallium nitride, confirmed via a press statement late Monday that it had completed its financial restructuring and emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.The Durham, North Carolina-based company stated that it has reduced its total debt by approximately 70% and extended debt maturities to 2030, while also lowering annual interest expenses by about 60%. Additionally, the company confirmed it has adequate liquidity to supply customers.CEO Robert Feurle said, "Wolfspeed has emerged from its expedited restructuring process, marking the beginning of a new era, which we are entering with new energy and a renewed commitment to the growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit that have powered Wolfspeed since its inception."Separately, the company announced the appointment of five directors with semiconductor industry knowledge and deep accounting and finance expertise to its board, including Aris Bolisay, who serves as VP, Finance at one of its largest customers, Renesas Electronics.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/WOLF">Wolfspeed stock</a> gained 1,726.45% on Monday after the company announced in a Form 8-K filing that it had canceled its previously issued and outstanding shares, and that its existing shareholders received their pro rata share of 1.31 million shares of its common stock at an exchange ratio of 0.008352.&nbsp;The move came as part of its emergence from bankruptcy. As of Monday, the company had a float of 25.84 million, compared to 156.48 million in old shares. The company has sold wireless spectrum to AT&amp;T and SpaceX at prices well over the carrying value, it added.
