Subscriber growth remained solid, reaching nearly 2.6 million (up 9% year-over-year), but monthly revenue per average subscriber slipped 6% to $80. Gross margin contracted to 65% from 73% in the prior-year period.Diluted loss per share came in at $0.40 per share in the quarter, compared to an estimated $0.03 earnings per share. U.S. revenue fell 8% to $529.9 million, while rest-of-world revenue surged 969% to $78.2 million amid international expansion.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Fresh Guidance</h2>Despite the soft quarter, Hims &amp; Hers raised its full-year 2026 outlook. It now expects revenue between $2.8 billion and $3.0 billion, up from a prior implied range around $2.7 billion–$2.9 billion, and adjusted core profit of $275 million to $350 million.For the second quarter, it guided revenue to $680 million–$700 million and adjusted core profit to $35 million–$55 million. No other explanation for the sales was provided in the filing.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Short Squeeze Drives CAR To Its Highest Point</h2>Until April 21, CAR stock gained in all but one session in the month, driven by a reported short squeeze. The rally pushed shares up nearly 400% to a record high.Earlier this week, Barclays said the rally was driven by a supply-demand imbalance, with two investors controlling about 71% of the shares and total economic interest exceeding 100% due to swaps, while high short interest sparked a sharp squeeze.<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Triggered The Collapse?</h2>Last week, Fugazi Research said the sharp sell-off followed the collapse of a fragile setup between two hedge funds, SRS Investment Management and Pentwater Capital, describing it as a “prisoners’ dilemma” that quickly unraveled.It noted that the two hedge funds had built combined exposure exceeding 100% of the float, effectively squeezing supply and pushing the stock far beyond its fundamentals, calling it the most extreme short squeeze since GameStop.The firm also flagged serious concerns about the business, citing billions in recent losses, heavy debt, and weak earnings relative to its interest obligations. The medicine is already approved in the United States, Canada, and China for the condition. Redemplo is self-administered via subcutaneous injection once every three months.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Wall Street Optimism</h2>Earlier this week, Morgan Stanley upgraded Arrowhead to ‘Overweight’ from ‘Equal Weight’ with a price target of $100, up from $78. The firm sees the stock's momentum continuing ahead of late-stage Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG) data due in Q3.
