Neptune Insurance Holdings Inc.’s (NP) shares made a strong debut on the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, listing at $22.5 apiece.At the time of writing,&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/NP">Neptune Insurance’s shares</a> were hovering at $22.83, or 14% higher compared to the issue price of $20.The St. Petersburg, Florida-based insurer raised $368 million through the IPO, with 18.42 million shares on offer.Founded in 2018, Neptune is one of the largest private flood insurance providers in the U.S. It uses artificial intelligence to make risk assessments for properties. According to the company’s filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Neptune uses an AI-powered underwriting agent called Triton to generate quotes and assess risks. The company stated that Triton processes more than 20,000 quotes on a typical day and has generated over 29.7 million quotes as of June 30.Neptune’s debut on the NYSE comes at a time when the U.S. government has entered a shutdown, resulting in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) not accepting any applications or processing new claims. “Neptune is open for business. We can help the 1,300 people every day who are trying to close on their homes who need flood insurance or required to have flood insurance,” Neptune’s chairman and CEO, Trevor Burgess, said in an interview with&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2025/10/01/neptune-flood-ipo-government-shutdown.html">CNBC</a>.“We tell the truth to consumers. If we say that it’s $200 a year, it’s pretty low risk. If we say it’s $12,000, that’s pretty high risk. And if we say, ‘No, [we won’t cover you]’, you should move,” Burgess added.Neptune’s IPO is the latest in a growing line of companies debuting on the stock market. Fermi LLC launched its initial public offering (IPO) on Wednesday, aiming to raise $550 million at a valuation of $13 billion.Co-founded by former U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Fermi is offering 25 million shares priced between $18 and $22, according to the company’s filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).Fermi, which is a real estate investment trust (REIT), will be renamed Fermi Inc.&nbsp;from its existing name, Fermi LLC, and the stock will list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market and the London Stock Exchange under the ticker “FRMI,” the company said in its filing. It was co-founded by Rick Perry, Toby Neugebauer, and Griffin Perry in January.Rick Perry was the Governor of Texas and served as the Energy Secretary in President Donald Trump’s first term.Fermi said in its filing that it intends to support the continued growth and development of its business, hire personnel, and increase its financial flexibility. Apart from this, the firm also intends to use the proceeds toward&nbsp;other general corporate purposes, including the procurement, construction, and installation of long lead-time items.The company also stated that it intends to have up to 11 gigawatts of power available to cater to data centers by 2038. It aims to achieve this through a combination of various power sources, including natural gas, solar energy, and nuclear power.Since its founding in January, the Texas-based company reported a net loss of $6.4 million through June, according to the SEC filing. This includes $3.6 million in share-based compensation expense and $2.1 million in general and administrative expenses. Netskope Inc. has filed to go public in the United States on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol "NTSK,” according to a regulatory filing on Friday.The cybersecurity firm was incorporated in Delaware in October 2012 and has its corporate headquarters located in Santa Clara, California.Netskope noted its fiscal 2024 revenue was $406.9 million, while in fiscal 2025 it reported revenue of $538.3 million. For the six months ending July 31, 2025, the company's revenue rose to $328.5 million, from $251.3 million a year ago during the same period.Cash provided by operating activities during the six months ended July 31, 2025, was $8.7 million, primarily consisting of net loss of $169.5 million, Netskope said in the filing. This compares to a net loss of $206.7 million for the period ended July 31, 2024.Netskope provides its services to several publicly listed companies, such as Home Depot, Bayer, Qualcomm, Tyson Foods, SunLife Financial, and Colgate-Palmolive, among others. The company said in the filing that it has employees in 33 countries and currently employs 2,910 people as of July 31, 2025.&nbsp;The firm noted that the number of customers increased to 4,317 from 3,571 for the same period. “We have customers growing from 84 as of July 31, 2024, to 90 as of July 31, 2025.
