FRMI's Ex-CEO Calls For A Special Shareholder Meeting — What Is On The Agenda?

(QGEN) fell 6% after hours on Monday after the company cut its fiscal year 2026 earnings guidance in light of lower-than-expected sales growth on the back of weak demand for its QuantiFERON tuberculosis test.Qiagen now expects full-year adjusted and diluted earnings per share of at least $2.43 at the constant exchange rate (CER), compared to its former guidance of $2.50. The company said that it expects net sales growth of 1-2% now, previously estimated at atleast 5% growth. The company pinned the lowered guidance on sustained caution among U.S. Life Sciences customers and increased geopolitical uncertainty, among other factors.For the second quarter, the company forecast net sales declining approximately 2% CER from last year’s $534 million, with adjusted EPS flat at at least $0.60 CER. Management said it expects stronger growth trends to return in the second half of 2026, supported by the end of headwinds from discontinued product lines, new product launches, sequential QuantiFERON improvement, and contributions from the recent Parse Biosciences acquisition.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Preliminary Q1 Numbers</h2>The diagnostics and life-sciences tools company said preliminary Q1 net sales reached $492 million, up 2% on a reported basis but down 1% at constant exchange rates (CER). That fell short of its prior outlook for at least 1% CER growth. Adjusted diluted earnings per share came in at $0.54 CER, in line with analyst expectations.The weakness was driven largely by QuantiFERON sales, which fell 5% CER to $113 million due to “significantly lower immigration testing demand” in the United States and the Middle East. It said in a court filing that “federal court is the proper forum for Reddit’s claims.”<h2 class="st-heading-2">Reddit’s Claims</h2>Reddit&nbsp;had filed a lawsuit against Anthropic in the San Francisco Superior Court last year in June, alleging a breach of contract, unjust enrichment, tortious interference, and unfair competition. Reddit Stock Up After Receiving ‘Motion To Remand’ Against Anthropic In Scraping Row

U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said that Reddit’s case against Anthropic should return to the San Francisco Superior Court.

Subscription revenue was $281 million, an increase of 25% year-over-year. It was above analyst expectations of $292.7 million, according to Stocktwits&nbsp;data.&nbsp;However, the company projected&nbsp;first-quarter (Q1) FY26 revenue to be in the range of $273 million to $277 million that was below analysts’ estimates of $280.8 million.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Price Cuts</h2>Mizuho lowered the firm's price target on SailPoint to $16 from $20 and kept a ‘Neutral’ rating on the shares. The company reported "muted" annual recurring revenue upside with an "underwhelming" fiscal 2027 guidance, the analyst told investors in a research note. However, the firm believes SailPoint's AI identity is off to a solid start, the note said, as per TheFly.&nbsp;TD Cowen lowered the firm's price target on SailPoint to $19 from $25 and kept a ‘Buy’ rating on the shares. The firm said that given broader market contraction, it has cut its price target on SailPoint despite "solid" Q4 results highlighted by 38% SaaS annual run-rate growth, 28% overall ARR growth, and solid but conservative guidance.BMO Capital analyst Keith Bachman lowered the firm's price target on SailPoint to $17 from $25 and kept an ‘Outperform’ rating on the shares. SailPoint Disappoints Wall Street With Its Downbeat Q1’26 Revenue Projection

By the way, we have a goal this year to fully offset the increase in fuel prices, which is about $4.6 billion at the moment for revenue to fully offset,” Scott Kirby, CEO of United Airlines said in the conference.&nbsp;The&nbsp;airline&nbsp;company has&nbsp;been pressured by rising fuel costs&nbsp;since the start of the&nbsp;U.S.&nbsp;and Israel's war with Iran that&nbsp;has led to an increase in crude oil prices across the globe. Iran has effectively blocked the critical oil supply route of&nbsp;the Strait of Hormuz.&nbsp;Kirby also said that the airline has about a $400 million headwind in the quarter related to higher fuel prices. “That's consistent with what you've heard from our peers. So it shouldn't be a big surprise. And we're having a lot of success passing through price,” he added.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Cut Capacity</h2>Kirby said the airline has cut a point of capacity reductions for the months of&nbsp;May and&nbsp;June, and plans to extend it&nbsp;“I'd much rather and proactively at the near term, at least, mostly means cutting capacity and eliminating marginal flying. I'd much rather make the mistake of leaving a couple of months worth of demand on the table, because we cut more, and then you can get it back, as opposed to making the mistake of oil prices stay higher and longer and you're flying flights that lose cash.
