Shares of Ultragenyx and Mereo BioPharma slipped in after-hours trading Wednesday after the companies said they will continue their Phase 3 trial of UX143 (setrusumab) as initially planned, rather than ending it early as they had hoped.In after-hours trading on Wednesday, Mereo BioPharma dropped 38.8% to $1.80, while Ultragenyx fell 25.8% to $30.76.UX143 is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits sclerostin, a negative regulator of bone formation.
