UBS lifted its upside target to $4,900 from $4,700, saying the factors behind this year’s rally should continue into 2026, according to a report by investing.com.

The yellow metal has gained over 12% this month, on track for the most significant gains since November 2009."I think we're headed to a shutdown because the Democrats won't do the right thing," Vice President JD Vance told reporters after a meeting at the White House with senior members of Congress. The President said in a post on Truth Social that the precious metal will not be subjected to tariffs.

White House Plans Gold Bar Tariff Clarification After Confusion Sends Gold Soaring: Report 

According to the Financial Times, the White House is planning on issuing an executive order to clarify any “misinformation” around tariffs on gold bars.
