$PFFA this is the time, when people should buy. I always bought it when it was below 19. The risk here is very low. BUY.

$PFFA Sunk cost fallacy. First you insisted the direction of rates was everything. Now you don't care what rates do? A low default rate doesn't guarantee a positive total return. PFFA is underwater YTD even after distributions. Not sure why you're so vested in my opinion and position with PFFA. Good luck.

$PFFA i dont give a shit what happens to rates as long as it's orderly. preferred stock failure rate is sub 1% even during a crisis. i dont trade income investments. this is a no brainer.

$PFFA clearly you dont. has nothing to do w rates being high. it has everything to do w the DIRECTION of rates. 5% 10yr isnt high. hell, in the early 00's comm9n stance on wall st was a 6% 10yr was as low as it would go. (and full employment was a 6% unemployment rate). ...and the mgmt fee includes the cost of borrowing/leverage the fund uses; not just mgmt costs.

$PFFA I understand interest rates and that this suffers when rates are high. I don't see that changing and this carries a high expense ratio. I'm not saying it's been a total dog... I just have other options that are paying without the erosion. Good luck!

$PFFA can you imagine scooping up 20k shares on Covid day? I hate doing this to myself but that is a dream entry. 3400 every month and appreciation. We need a black swan event. I would literally margin entry this and just chill. 10 is the new 4 if it happens.
