MongoDB Stock Sinks Pre-Market As Weak Guidance Spawns Downgrade, Price Target Cuts – But Retail Isn’t Worried

Wells Fargo downgraded the stock to ‘Equal Weight’ from ‘Overweight’ and slashed its price target by more than $100 to $225 from $365.

Arm Stock Slides To 4-Month Low As Qualcomm Jumps On Victory In Licensing Dispute: Retail Remains Unswayed

($SMCI) stock pulled back sharply on Tuesday, a day after traders bid up the stock on the relief that the artificial intelligence server maker dodged the delisting bullet, at least for now.At last check, the stock was down 8.26% at $40.51, having traded in the $39.78&nbsp;to&nbsp;$43.35 range.Late Friday,&nbsp;Super Micro&nbsp;confirmed that the Nasdaq granted time until Feb. 25, 2025, to file its&nbsp;annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, and its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the period ending Sept. 30, 2024.&nbsp;Reacting to the news,&nbsp;the company’s shares rose as much as 9.3% intraday on Monday before giving back most of the gains. At the close, the stock was up 0.52% at $44.16.&nbsp;Tuesday’s weakness comes amid lingering worries about whether Super Micro can meet the late-February deadline and the declines in some AI-levered stocks.Retail, however, is optimistic. Super Micro’s Volatile Run Continues As Stock Teeters Around $40 Following 9% Drop: Retail Turns Constructive

Tuesday’s weakness comes amid lingering worries about whether Super Micro can meet the late-February deadline and the declines in some AI-levered stocks.

($SMCI) shares took off in Friday’s after-hours trading after the artificial intelligence server maker announced that the Nasdaq has granted it an extension to be up-to-date with the filing of its financial reports.The San Jose, California-based company said it received a letter from Nasdaq granting its request for an exception to Nasdaq rule 5250(c)(1) through Feb. 25, 2025. The rule mandates that companies listed on the exchange should file all required periodic financial reports with the SEC on or before the filing deadline.&nbsp;Super Micro has delayed the filing its annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, and its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the period ending Sept. 30, 2024. The predicament came amid the company's then-auditor Ernst &amp; Young stepping down after flagging concerns regarding accounting practices and internal controls.&nbsp;The AI server maker has since then appointed a new auditor. Super Micro Computer, Inc. ($SMCI) shares are on track to record their second consecutive session of gains, and the retail is slowly returning to the bullish camp.In premarket trading, as of 9:06 a.m. ET, Super Micro stock climbed 3.91% to $43.65. If the premarket gains hold up, the stock is on track to open at its highest level since late October.On Monday, Super Micro stock was up 28.68% at $42 by the close of trading, having touched an intra-day high of $44.15. Monday's rally came amid above-average volume, lending credence to the upward move.The positive catalyst was a statement that the independent special committee instituted by the board found no evidence of misconduct on the part of the management or the board.
