Over the years, these qualities were filtered out of Bitcoin Core and progress was stifled by various people, organizations, and companies involved in Bitcoin protocol development. The result is that Bitcoin Core is currently unusable as money due to increasingly high fees per transactions and transfer times taking hours to complete. This is all because of the 1MB limitation of Bitcoin Core’s block size, causing it unable to accommodate to large number of transactions.  Essentially Bitcoin Cash is a community-activated upgrade (otherwise known as a hard fork) of Bitcoin that increased the block size to 8MB, solving the scaling issues that plague Bitcoin Core today. Analysts, on average, had expected revenue of $1.11 billion, as per from Fiscal.ai data.&nbsp;</p><p>"This has been the most challenging winter across the Rockies that we have ever experienced with the lowest snowfall levels in more than 30 years for our Colorado and Utah resorts, combined with warmer temperatures, resulting in reduced terrain throughout the quarter and into February,” said Rob Katz, Chief Executive Officer, Vail Resorts.&nbsp;</p><p>“While these conditions and the resulting visitation headwinds negatively impacted our quarterly results, we remained focused on the areas within our control. This includes our advanced commitment strategy, continued investments in our resorts and our employees, and progressing key initiatives to optimize visitation, including enhanced marketing and new products,” he added.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Q2 2026 Snapshot</h2><p>Vail Resorts reported Q2 fiscal 2026 net income attributable of $210.0 million compared to $244.4 million in the prior year.&nbsp;</p><p>Its resort net revenue decreased $53.2 million, or 4.7%, compared to the prior year, which was primarily driven by the unfavorable weather conditions that impacted visitation and ancillary spending for both local and destination guests during the period.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Cuts 2026 Guidance</h2><p>The company now expects net income attributable to Vail Resorts, Inc. of $144 million to $190 million for its FY 2026.&nbsp;</p><p>"Due to the persistent, historically challenging weather conditions in the Rockies, which continued to limit terrain availability, the Company is reducing its fiscal 2026 guidance. You do not look at plan B by just waiting for a couple of phone calls,” said&nbsp;CEO Pierre R. Brondeau.</p><p>“We are running it like a divestiture process. We've hired two banks, Bank of America and Goldman Sachs, who are running the process. We do have a legal advisor. We have prepared the management presentation and the data, and we have actually already given a management presentation to parties, which are interested in the acquisition, potentially, of FMC,” he added.&nbsp;</p><p>“So this process is fully in motion, despite the fact that my priority as a CEO is Plan A and delivering on the operating plan. The other process is being fully run and completely in motion,” he further said.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">FMC’s Strategic Options</h2><p>FMC earlier in the month announced its 2026 priorities and the authorization by the board to explore strategic options.</p><p>The company had said that the organization continues to focus on its 2026 operational priorities, including strengthening the balance sheet, improving the competitiveness of its core portfolio, managing its post-patent Rynaxypyr which is broad-spectrum anthranilic diamide insecticide developed by FMC, active strategy and supporting growth of new active ingredients.&nbsp;</p><p>The company has forecasted its full year 2026 revenue in between $3.60 billion to $3.80 billion, a decline of 5% at the midpoint versus prior year.
