The system selects validators based on how much ADA they've staked and for how long, then rewards them with additional ADA for their participation. This approach uses far less energy than traditional mining while keeping the network secure. The platform also features a two-layer design that separates basic payment transactions from smart contract operations, allowing each function to be optimized independently for better performance.   ADA holders can earn staking rewards by locking up their tokens to help secure the network, vote on proposed changes to the platform, and use ADA for international money transfers with lower fees than traditional services.  Cardano was founded in 2017 by Charles Hoskinson, who previously helped create Ethereum. Hoskinson leads Input Output Global (IOG), the technology company that builds and maintains Cardano's core software. The ecosystem operates through three organizations: IOG handles technical development, the Cardano Foundation promotes adoption and standardization, and Emurgo helps businesses integrate blockchain technology into their operations. This structure distributes responsibilities across multiple groups rather than concentrating control in a single entity. Litecoin uses the memory intensive Scrypt proof of work mining algorithm. Scrypt allows consumer-grade hardware such as GPU to mine those coins.  Why Litecoin? Litecoin is a cryptocurrency that has evolved from Bitcoin after its own popularity in the industry, this alternative, or ‘altcoin’ has emerged to allow investors to diversify their digital currency package, according to Investopedia. Litecoin is one of the most prominent altcoins and was created by former Google employee and Director of Engineering at Coinbase, Charlie Lee. Litecoin was the first to alter Bitcoin and the most significant difference is that it takes 2.5 minutes for Litecoin to generate a block, or transaction, in comparison to Bitcoin's 10 minutes.  ‘While this matters little to traders, miners who use hardware to run Bitcoin's network cannot switch over to Litecoin. This keeps bigger mining conglomerates away from Litecoin because they cannot easily optimize their profits by swapping to another coin, contributing to a more decentralized experience. Litecoin also has bigger blocks, and more coins in circulation, making it more affordable and swift when transacting,’ Investopedia explained.  As explained above, Litecoin can transact a lot faster than Bitcoin, but there are also a number of other characteristics that investors need to know before trading. Litecoin can handle higher volumes of transactions because of the capability of transacting faster and if Bitcoin attempted to transact on the scale of its altcoin, a code update would be needed. However, Litecoin’s blocks would be larger, but with more ‘orphaned blocks'. The faster block time of litecoin reduces the risk of double spending attacks - this is theoretical in the case of both networks having the same hashing power.  Litecoin Technical Details: The transaction confirmation time taken for Litecoin is about 2.5 minutes on average (as compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes). The Litecoin network is scheduled to cap at 84 million currency units.   Litecoin has inspired many other popular alternative currencies (eg. Dogecoin) because of its Scrypt hashing algorithm in order to prevent ASIC miners from mining those coins. However it is said that by the end of this year, Scrypt ASIC will enter the mass market.

Nvidia’s Blackwell chips are banned in China. “I don’t say yes; I don’t say no,” said Datasection’s chief executive officer, Norihiko Ishihara.“By design, the export rules allow clouds to be built and operated outside controlled countries by approved firms,” said a Nvidia spokesperson. “Winning the business of those clouds is critical to maintain American technology leadership and promotes both national and economic security.”<h2 class="st-heading-2">Loophole Exploitation</h2>President Donald Trump has banned the export of Nvidia’s Blackwell chips to China to maintain a competitive advantage in the AI race.According to the report from Barron’s, Datasection announced deals for 15,000 Nvidia Blackwell graphical processing units, or GPUs, for use in data centers in Osaka and Sydney, adding that they would be used by “one of the world’s largest cloud-service providers.” Tencent was identified as the customer after a person familiar with the matter learned of the connection from business interactions in Japan, the report said.Leveraging cloud services to access Blackwell chips does not violate the U.S. export ban, which prohibits Chinese companies from owning those chips. This is a loophole that can be exploited and has been flagged by members of Congress.Earlier this month, President Donald Trump relaxed export rules, announcing that the U.S. would allow Nvidia’s H200 chips, an older version, to be exported to select buyers in China and other countries. However, Blackwell chips are still prohibited from export to China.Tencent’s reported use of Nvidia’s advanced chips is the second instance of a Chinese company trying to gain access to Blackwell chips. China’s Tencent Holdings has gained access to Nvidia’s Blackwell chips via a Tokyo-based cloud service provider, according to a report from Barron’s.

Meanwhile, several lesser-known companies with only indirect exposure to AI delivered outsized returns for shareholders.At one point this year,&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/NVDA">Nvidia’s stock</a> was cruising along fine, after recovering from the DeepSeek and Trump tariff-related sell-offs seen early in the year. The returns peaked at 64% in late October. Scion Asset Management’s Michael Burry and Seaport Research’s Jay Goldberg are among those who led the bearish chatter on Nvidia, denting investor sentiment. In a recent note, Goldberg said, “It’s just getting harder and harder for their (Nvidia) customers to afford” the company’s offering.&nbsp;&nbsp;Burry, for instance, placed a sizable bearish bet against Nvidia just before his firm moved to deregister. He also raised questions about the substantial capital expenditures by hyperscalers, though he did not call out Nvidia. However, after the Jensen Huang-led company reported its third-quarter results, Burry suggested that the company may have&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/michael-burry-tears-into-nvidia-after-q3/cLPAPKIRE9e">inflated its earnings</a> through questionable stock-based compensation accounting practices.Market watchers have also expressed uneasiness about the circular financing deals involving Nvidia and partners, including hyperscalers and data center infrastructure companies that were customers of the chipmaker.&nbsp;Another key headwind the company had to contend with is the U.S. ban on high-performance chip exports to China. Nvidia’s Gains Cut Nearly In Half From Year’s Peak: Time To Buy The Dip?

Granted, it was not a steady, steep ascent, but the trend was broadly to the upside, interspersed with minor pullbacks.&nbsp;AI stalwart Nvidia is up a relatively less glamorous 29% this year, but its chip peers Micron, Broadcom, Intel, and AMD have had a stronger run. So did the storage solutions companies such as Western Digital, its spin-off company Sandisk, and Seagate Technology, as well as chip-equipment makers Lam Research and KLA Corp.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Breakout Story Or Shady Play?</h2>But an obscure chipmaker in the eastern part of the world has beaten all these big giants fair and square in terms of stock performance — a David in the world of AI Goliaths.However, the company’s opacity continues to deepen by the day. Welcome to the world of RRP Semiconductor. The Thane, India-based company has built an Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly &amp; Test (OSAT) facility in Maharashtra for chip packaging, fabrication, and testing.&nbsp;The company's financial soundness, however, is in question. RRP Semi reported negative revenue of Rs. 682.14 lakhs ($68.2 million) for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2025, according to its filings with the stock exchange. Its adjusted loss swung wildly from Rs. 0.21 a year ago to Rs. 5.25.Incorporated as a trading investment firm in 1980, the company transitioned into the electronics and semiconductor industry, renaming itself RRP Semiconductor in May 2025, according to information from the stock market analytics firm Trendlyne.&nbsp;RRP Semi landed in trouble with regulators after social media speculation that Indian cricketing great Sachin Tendulkar had invested in the company sent its shares soaring. The sports icon had attended the inauguration of the Navi Mumbai OSAT plant in late March 2024. In a filing with the BSE in mid-October, the company clarified that Tendulkar has not subscribed to its shares and that the company has not received land from the government of Maharashtra.
